2022.11.03 Emunah {Faith} for Supernatural Divine Healing Created by James on 11/12/2022 1:43:17 PM As I have shared previously, in the early years of my walk with Father commencing March 1993 I was deeply influenced by a series of Charismatic Christian churches until Father showed me that there was major error and He called me out of the Church to start my own Prophetic Teaching Ministry.
In that ministry I have focussed on the truths I have been taught by Father and not paid any attention to the truths that I learned in those early years on the basis that I considered them to be widely known and widely taught and therefore not necessary for me to focus on.
Recently I have encountered a number of people on my mailing list who clearly do NOT have a deep understanding of Emunah {Faith}, Divine Healing and Divine Provision – items I have taken for granted
2022.11.03 Emunah {Faith} for Supernatural Divine Healing
As I have shared previously, in the early years of my walk with Father commencing March 1993 I was deeply influenced by a series of Charismatic Christian churches until Father showed me that there was major error and He called me out of the Church to start my own Prophetic Teaching Ministry.
In that ministry I have focussed on the truths I have been taught by Father and not paid any attention to the truths that I learned in those early years on the basis that I considered them to be widely known and widely taught and therefore not necessary for me to focus on.
Recently I have encountered a number of people on my mailing list who clearly do NOT have a deep understanding of Emunah {Faith}, Divine Healing and Divine Provision – items I have taken for granted.
This article seeks to redress this imbalance by presenting detailed teachings from various sources on the subject of Divine Supernatural Healing. In subsequent articles I plan to address Emunah {Faith} and Provision / Prosperity and to encourage you to EXPECT THE SUPERNATURAL.
Many of the principles discussed in this article apply to any area of walking by faith (Emunah). I plan to produce a similar compilation on Emunah {Faith} in the near future.
In what follows I will first address six videos that speak to this topic in various ways and a series of articles by Doug Ferguson and will then present eight articles that I have extracted from the Internet that address the topic of Healing. It is my fervent belief that anyone who takes what follows seriously and does the necessary spiritual work as outlined in this article and references will come to a place of complete healing of current infirmities, including cancer, after effects of poisoning, etc.
Seven Components of Drawing Close
In considering what follows please also look at the article “Seven Components of Drawing Close to Father” on the website at https://www.eti-ministries.org/seven-components-of-drawing-close for detailed guidance on drawing close to Father Yah the Eternally Self-Existing, the Almighty Creator, commonly inaccurately referred to as “The LORD” and “God”.
Usual Caveats
In presenting this article with references to the work of others the usual caveats re names, etcetera apply – see https://www.eti-ministries.org/essence-of-message-to-christians
Remember that the spiritual dispensation changed when Satan was cast into the Pit in 2003 and the Grace for wrong names and wrong beliefs was withdrawn before that so more rigour is required in what we believe – see https://www.eti-ministries.org/satan-to-pit-2003
Note also the number of Bible verses from the so-called “Old Testament” that speak of Yah healing, so healing is NOT just a “New Testament” thing – Yahooshua was an “Old Testament” Prophet delivering healing through the Covenant of Moshe {Moses}. Divine Healing is available to ALL Believers, NOT just those who believe in Yahooshua.
The reference to various ministries does NOT constitute an endorsement of the ministry as a whole and the inclusion of an article does NOT constitute a blanket endorsement of the content of that article or video, it is up to you to lift out what is truth.
Yah’s words are words Yah has spoken, a few of which are in the Bible, the Bible is NOT the “Word of God” it is a useful reference about many miraculous interactions between human beings and the Almighty Creator, certain passages are valuable in understanding Yah’s will with regard to healing, that is where it stops. It is the living words spoken by Yah and NOT a book that breathe life into a person and heal them – some of these words are in the Bible as evidenced below.
There ARE passages in the Bible that ARE directly from Yah, these are the passages that are cited in the articles that follow to support healing. The rest of the Bible is simply historical account and the point to note there is the innumerable miracles that Father has performed.
In summary:
“Yah the Eternally Self-Existing” NOT “The LORD”
“Almighty” or “Mighty One” NOT “God”
“Yahooshua” NOT “Jesus”
“Anointing of the Spirit of Yah” NOT “Christ”
Jesus is NOT God / Yahooshua is NOT Yah
The Bible is NOT the “Word of God”
Summary of What to Do
In summary, the following are the key actions to receive healing, finances or anything else by Emunah {Faith} – the sections that follow elaborate:
- Research and Believe – do whatever you need to do in order to believe what you are believing for is possible – read articles, watch videos, listen to podcasts, etc
- Read and Study about the matters of the Almighty at least an hour a day, preferably two hours, this can include Bible reading but should extend beyond the Bible including this entire article and all references in it. Watch as many videos on healing and Emunah {Faith} as possible, listen to podcasts, etcetera etcetera.
- Worship at least an hour a day out loud, preferably two hours, sing carefully selected songs, see my suggestions on the website. Sing songs about Father filling you with His Spirit as well as songs making love to Him and praising Him. Avoid doctrinally wrong songs, substitute the correct names, etc. Listen on earbuds at work, on public transport, etcetera and sing in your heart. Listen in your car and sing along.
- Pray on your knees or on your face on the floor at least an hour a day and preferably two hours a day – commune with Father, come to a place of conversation. Passionately ask Him to Anoint you, to grant you your desire, etc. Knock and keep on knocking, pray with Importunity – insistent urgent asking.
- Fast – at least seven x three day water only fasts with the Covenant Meal {Communion / Sacraments} morning and evening, could be seven days, fourteen day, twenty one days or forty days depending on how serious you are. At least once a year, twice a year or more frequently if you are really serious -- depending on the length of the fast.
- Live your daily life – work, etc – if you do the above with commitment Father will give you the energy to do all the above AND work.
- Contact me – throughout this process contact me and we can chat on email, Zoom, etc and I will guide you.
- Persist – keep doing this daily for as long as it takes to receive a powerful anointing and receive what you are asking for at which point you will probably be in a position to go into full time ministry and minister healing, deliverance, etc to others.
Kenneth E Hagin (Senior) – Impact on my life
The Charismatic Christian Church that I was taken to following my encounter with Father on 12th March 1993 was Rhema Bible Church in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. An off-shoot of Rhema Ministries in Tulsa Oklahoma founded by Kenneth E Hagin. The teachings on Faith, Healing and Provision deeply impacted me as did the teachings of numerous other Faith teachers of that time who visited Rhema and taught there and at their annual conferences. As stated previously I subsequently learned that there were elements of their teachings that did NOT accord with what Father was saying to me and so, in time, I moved away from the established Christian Church and Established End Time Issue Ministries which has NO affiliation with ANY stream of religion including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etcetera drawing truth from wherever Father and life lead me.
I will therefore start this article with reference to Kenneth E Hagin. Kenneth founded the Rhema Bible Church organization and is possibly the most powerful and most loyal servant of the Almighty of the twentieth century.
A search on Google with regard to the manner of his death reveals “Hagin went to bed on Saturday September 13 feeling well, according to a news release from his ministry. He sat at the breakfast table on Sunday morning and smiled at his wife, Oretha, then sighed and his head fell to his chest. He died on Friday, September 19, 2003, at the age of 86.”
It is a fundamental principle that when a mature believer dies unexpectedly or in a painful way it is because they are in deep sin to the point that they will be rejected if they continue living, a painful death is intended to bring about repentance of grievous sin.
The manner of Kenneth E Hagin’s death tells me that he was in right standing with Father Yah and had been faithful throughout his life. It therefore seems to me that he is potentially the greatest of Yah’s Generals of the twentieth century.

Being filled with the Spirit of Yah is an important element of being able to minister healing to others and makes it much easier to receive healing oneself.
This is an important teaching about the Anointing --Filled with the Spirit of Father that is the Set-Apart {Holy} Spirit to true Believers.
Note that there is an initial betrothal portion of the Set-Apart Spirit of the Creator that is given when one first believes.
There is then an infilling of the Spirit when one asks for it or comes into a situation where it is poured out on one.
When truly filled with the Spirit one may then speak in another tongue.

Where I Found the Faith to Move Figurative “Mountains”
http://spiritualhealingsource.com/?p=9173
Brad put that mountain down!
…mountains of doubt, unbelief and other obstacles
It was at the San Francisco Airport, Hilton Inn, where I was “stuck” for the weekend; just me and a Greek New Testament.
I stumbled onto something that startled me – and as an exercise, I often would translate how I thought it would best be shared in the English vernacular with people whom I might be sharing.
“How much more of God’s own spirit, will he give to those who cry out to him day and night until they know they have enough to meet the need of the moment.”
I believe the year was 1962. If so it means that for 60 years I’ve been doing the same thing . . . anytime I’m faced with a situation for which I don’t feel I have enough faith (such as right now, writing this article in a way that will help readers to find their own faith instead of leaning on me)!
The reason for that is so that you don’t get “faith” regurgitated like baby food from me, but go directly to the SOURCE, the Spirit of God (which, expressing it that way is the height of redundancy) …and WHO IS faith.
“Faith,” viewed from this perspective, is nothing more and nothing less than SPIRIT in action – it’s not “your” or “my” faith, it’s the faith of I AM that, I AM.

Listening to Voices 8 -- http://spiritualhealingsource.com/?p=2858
(What If This Is True?)
Begging before the throne of God...does this type of praying work?
Chapter Eight
“If it be thy will” …an e-mail I opened just this morning precipitated my going to our SPIRIT-PARENT and getting this little catch phrase, with which some Christians the world over, dutifully end their “praying” and wonder why they never get any results. It is a “voice” to which we can stop listening and also stop speaking.
“Interrupt the pattern and move into another entirely different way of effective prayer …that is, PRAYER THAT GETS RESULTS!”
Thank you Daddy! I just asked how to put the thoughts I’m receiving into an effective way of writing it for those who have the eyes to see it.
Interrupt the pattern of our thinking as well as speaking! …for many years I have railed and told many stories about inflaming the anger of people when they ask me with hostility how what I know about praying is any different or better than their way of praying.
Are you ready for my answer? Are you sure? Some of you will “get this” and some of you won’t. The prime criterion for “getting it” is the willingness to change, that is, to interrupt habit patterns of insisting upon bringing old religious traditions into the arena of what we perceive as “truth.”
A hole in your amour can lead to trouble.
This formal, respectful and “awe for God” sounding phrase, “if it be thy will,” exposes a dreadful hole (and lack of whole) in our spiritual armor.
Here is the reason some have more effectiveness in (meaning getting results from) their “praying” than do others: Those effective at getting results from speaking toward our SPIRIT-PARENT understand that it takes an entirely different mindset.
The italicized term, speaking toward, in the foregoing paragraph, is one of the key elements. In the words that were purported to have come through the mouth of Jesus it is very clear in the original language that the words which the KJV translated as “prayer” literally meant command and demand. Further, in context, it means to do so relentlessly and continually until what is being spoken comes into realization on the physical plane.
Before I could see this and put it into practice I had to see something else. I had to go through a change in my thinking. I had to be at the point of believing that I could demand/command anything from our SPIRIT-PARENT.
That is exactly where I started, that is, by asking how to do exactly that. How simple was the answer when I was willing to ask, at that particular place in my thought processes. The answer, of course, was my mind needed to be renewed!
The obstacles in the way of getting answers to prayer were in my mind. The obstacles to my being an intercessor on behalf of others for healing or whatever were in their minds and my mind.
Now who put all those obstacles there?
I could easily command/demand when I knew beforehand that I was actually speaking the desires and purposes of our SPIRIT-PARENT, but those desires and purposes coudn’t be brought into existence on the physical plane if the obstacles were not dealt with.
People have questioned me as to the reason I will often refuse to pray for their healing. If they have things going on in their minds, our (YOUR AND MY) SPIRIT-PARENT knows it and I know those need to be dealt with first!
In general terms, I know it is always within the desires and purposes (“will”) of our SPIRIT-PARENT to heal everyone – the question, often lamented, “Why does God heal some and not others” is simply met with the understanding of all the foregoing (enough said).
I was soon able to tell anyone (after getting an okay from Daddy) who really wanted to know why I thought my praying was any different from, or better than the way they prayed that the answer was very simple:
“Because when I pray I know that the result I’m praying for will come into being and you don’t” (fairly easy to see why that would tick somebody off, is it not)?
I’m getting that this is enough (too much) for some and we’ll continue on this topic if we’re supposed to in a later (next?) chapter.

Chapter Twenty-Seven
For the last several days I have not looked at my e-mails – usually 15 to 20 new ones in my inbox overnight, until later in the morning. This morning I felt a nudge and verified that is what I was to do, very first thing: 4:10 a.m. Twenty-seven of them! …in the middle of the pack was this terse remark on the subject line.
SHOW ME JUST ONE VERSE!
Mr. Cullen (it began, “Mister,” now that is almost always a harbinger of some biting comment and sure enough . . .), if you can show me one verse in the Bible that says such a thing, maybe I’ll visit your site again, which has been recommended highly by somebody I tend to respect or did. But in your chapter 22 which I opened up to, which seems a bit strange to me, you say at the end and I’m surprised I waded through the rest of it to get there, “get your direction from the Voice” where on earth did you ever get such a thing and then to pass if off as truth? I will look it up in a valid translation such as the New American Standard, which obviously you have avoided in whatever study you may have done.
Daddy, shall I answer this with chapter and verse, or what? Or . . .
My response (verbatim):
Thanks for taking the time to write, _____, I’ll save you some time – I lifted the following passage off Bible Gateway on the Internet, in the New American Standard version (no less) exactly as formatted, capitals and all – may I humbly suggest that you prayerfully ask to be guided to the three places this is repeated in chapters 3 and 4 of Hebrews:
“Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME . . .”
I’m going to also be bold and say, why don’t you take it to heart? It doesn’t say if you will diligently study; in fact, in one of the repetitions in the original language (if I recall correctly — it has been awhile), it says: “Again, I say to you, if you will hear My voice and not harden your heart”
Now, _______, my interpretation might be: “by continuing to read when I I have stated if you will HEAR MY VOICE”
In fact, it was this passage that confirmed something I had begun asking people to please limit their praying for me to: “If you must pray for me, please ask that I listern, hear and obey HIS voice alone.”
Just add water, pray a bit and a church will grow.
I remember the year that occurred; it was 1989 on the Big Island of Hawaii, near Hilo. I felt oppressed by, let’s call it a “strange presence,” and I finally asked what it was and what to do about it. I was shown the cause. A woman was fervently praying that I would see that it was God’s will to start a church and be its pastor.
I called the couple and asked if I could drop by. I confronted her that I’d been shown she had been praying for me. She gushed, her husband nodding in agreement, “Oh yes I’ve been praying that you would see that it is God’s will to start a church and become our pastor.”
I responded gently, but firmly, “That is exactly what I’ve been shown NOT to do any longer, would you do me a favor? They both looked at me quzzically, waiting:
“If you feel called to pray for me, please pray that I listen, hear and obey HIM alone.” It was shortly after that, that I stumbled across the referenced passage …amazing, what?
It is why I call Christianity the great rebellion, _______, the emphasis on Bible study, public prayer and any number of other things that Jesus said NOT to engage in are the hallmarks of this crazy religion – if you want chapter and verse related to those things Jesus said, again, NOT to do, I will be happy to supply them if, THE VOICE of our (yours and my) SPIRIT-PARENT gives me the okay to do so.
Frankly, I prefer getting my food directly from the SOURCE and I no longer consider that to be the Bible – even though, admittedly, it provided some great grist for this particular discussion …or at least it seemed so to yours truly.
Thanks again,
Brad
What now, Daddy?
Really! I exclaimed, right now?
That’s all folks, that’s chapter 27 (a bit coincidental to the number of e-mails, don’t you agree?) …see you right back here in #28.
Elijah-Elisha excerpt
Particularly after watching the videos about Azusa Street and A.A. Allen and remembering how reading about both many years ago had a significant impact on my life.
Your remarks about the Pew Research study about the decline in numbers of Christian believers and Christianity in general got my attention. But from a different point of view.
Christianity as defined by whom? ...and believers the same question. "Christian" is a term that means too many different things to too many different people to communicate anything meaningful. According to some estimates there are 45,000 different Christian denominations worldwide and many of them pointing to the importance of their peculiar differences.
Your own idiosyncrasy with which I agree has to do with the importance of having an intimate relationship with Yah. In my view that IS revival.
I'm attaching an excerpt I just now copied and perhaps brings us to an interesting way to begin looking at the whole topic. Anxiously awaiting a response when you have the time and/or inclination.
Doug
Doug’s article:
James, the following is excerpted from a chapter in the “Brad Cullen” novel Leapfrog. “Brad” had just returned from a business trip to London and was explaining to the group of twelve, while handing out the pages stapled together to each individual now living in his home near Jacksonville, Florida, that he had written the following on his laptop at Heathrow two days earlier and wanted their reactions to it.
As I’ve explained previously the novel is based on a collection of true stories, mostly my own experiences.
The excerpt follows.
Elijah/Elisha —from Brad
I wrote about this first when I was still in the organized church. I had a vision one night that what kept us from moving on into a place of overcoming was making the wrong comparisons.
We tend to compare ourselves with other people. Usually the comparison I made would consist of “I’m not as bad as so and so.” What held me back even more was comparing myself with someone whom I thought was more highly spiritual than myself.
Why was that even more detrimental to my progress on the path to higher spirituality?
Then I saw it. The only one who came to set an example for us as a man was Jesus.
Once I saw the truth of that, all kinds of Scriptures “popped out at me.” The clincher was Jesus’ own words. “Everything you have seen me do, you will do also, if you believe.”
What did Jesus do? Walked on water, turned water into wine, raised people from the dead, healed the sick, cast out demons, gave sight to people even born blind…etc., etc.
This was the comparison, the only comparison that I should be making.
As I meditated on this and prayed for clarity, I was scheduled to speak two days later at a Bible conference in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I knew I was not prepared! I had been used by God to heal diseases and knew what my authority was regarding casting out demons. And, therefore—in comparison to most other folks in the organized church—I was okay, in my own eyes.
Okay, I thought, I see how I am totally lacking when comparing myself to Jesus. I was on my face praying and pounding on the floor telling Holy Spirit that I wanted clarity to know what I should say.
I heard “consider Elisha.” I had heard of Elisha and remembered that he had attached himself to Elijah as a servant of sorts. Elijah? Anyone who has ever gone to church or Sunday school or Sabbath school has heard of Elijah—one of the great miracle-working prophets of Israel of all times. I looked up Elisha in a Bible Concordance and found several references.
The second chapter of II Kings tells about how God was preparing to take Elijah up in a whirlwind—not to die, mind you, but take him off this physical plane in a whirlwind, beyond and excluding death. Now you know where I got part of my theology about ‘translating’ instead of dying. The narrative has Elijah telling Elisha to leave him. Over and over this was the scene, “get lost, kid.” Elisha refused to go—until finally, Elijah, in exasperation asked him what he wanted.
Elisha said, “I want twice as much of Holy Spirit as is in you.” We need to note this, underline it in our minds. Here was one of the greatest prophets since Moses, and Elisha had the audacity to want double the amount of Holy Spirit that was operating in Elijah.
Elisha kept badgering him that this is what he wanted. Finally Elijah said to Elisha, “Okay, you have asked for something quite difficult, far more difficult than you can imagine. But here’s the deal, if you are with me when I am taken up and you see me go, then you will have what you want.”
And it happened exactly like that. Elisha would not leave Elijah’s side nor could be distracted from keeping his eyes upon him. The following is quite interesting.
Remember, Elisha demanded to get twice the amount of Holy Spirit that was in Elijah.
As I went through I & II Kings I saw that Elisha performed just about twice the number of miracles that Elijah had performed!
I asked Spirit, “What am I supposed to learn from this?” I heard, “Tell them to compare themselves to Jesus. You are trying to be a great conference speaker. Stop! This only causes wasteful comparisons of them to you. Go in humility. Go in My presence and power and tell them to compare themselves to Jesus.
“Then be like Elisha. Attach yourself to Jesus and refuse to take less than twice the same amount of My own Spirit operating in Jesus. You go demanding this and see if you are not hidden in Me and that I AM glorified.”
It happened. That was just about the last speaking engagement I took, because I was shown that the church did not want this message. I was to remove myself, as you’ve all heard, from the organized church.
It is so simple; the destiny that Jesus proclaimed for us all, IF we believe, is to demand and keep demanding to be able to do what he promised anyone who believed in him can do. Everything he did and even greater things than he did. This is our mission. I believe the reason that we are being moved to live with one another is to become what Jesus said we could become and share that message with others he sends to us.
Are we ready?
Brad
I finished reading Brad’s poignant, but powerful little paper and realized this is what God prepared him to do. I understood why Brad was a man of such power and yet so filled with humility and almost magical attraction. It also made me understand more than ever the frustration he had had with the organized church. And now he was passing the mantle over to two teenage girls to take this message in power to young people! I could hardly wait until morning for the French toast and hearing how everyone else was reacting to this…especially my two daughters!
My reply
Hi Doug
Thank you for your email and attachment, a real blessing
My point with the declining Christianity article is that spirituality related to the Almighty, in whatever shape or form is declining – apologies, I did not make that clear
Regarding your article, yes, I agree, very early on Father told me to read the Gospels as though I was Yahooshua (Jesus in those days) – so I did and after about nine months I received a powerful Anointing with which I performed significant works but, a few years later, through a brutal divorce, I lost it and was told I could never regain it, hence my passion to encourage others to go beyond what I had.
Thanks again
My challenge to readers remains to ask YOU what are YOU going to do in order to do GREATER works than Yahooshua?

“1) Acknowledge that something is currently impossible; the reason is unimportant.
“2) Turn it over to the Superconscious part of you which knows it is possible.
“3) Make a decision to do whatever you are instructed (whether from a feeling, an idea, something you heard or read) to follow the instructions which you receive and that you feel comfortable are for you.”
Get a guide
How to do this will be different for each individual, hopefully it will open many doors for each. I share below how I activate the shift from limited conscious and unconscious to Superconscious, infinite, creativity and for me, it is BOTH within AND beyond; certainly beyond my ability to understand/explain how or why it works.
***
The recommended book provides many ideas and approaches, but the author seems to tend toward a system rather than depending upon guidance from the Superconscious, though admittedly, such guidance is part of his system.
So how do you turn it over to Superconscious to shift from impossibility skepticism to possibility thinking?
Pray Your Way
What works for me, incorporates the three steps given above:
I say or “pray,” if you will, “I have not been able to accomplish this with the conscious and unconscious parts of my mind, but I believe nothing is impossible for you, please show me the way to make lasting changes toward a life I love, a life of vibrant health and vitality, thank YOU!”
When I do this, invariably I get instruction; sometimes it’s direct from the SOURCE as is this article, other times it comes from a book or an article or other external means. Sometimes I’m guided to demand that it be done, other times it seems that a polite request is more appropriate. The most powerful question I’ve ever been given is, “What else is possible?”
Can You Do This? The answer is no …unless at http://spiritualhealingsource.com/?p=9195
This is the way in.
“You gotta come as a little child to a loving parent, or you cannot enter the realm of the loving parent.” A crude Brad Cullen paraphrase of a simple truth mouthed two thousand years ago in the Aramaic language.
The challenge with the foregoing is “mature” adults with their skeptical “adult” minds cannot begin to take the steps back into childhood. There are all kinds of simple, yet practical ways to recapture child-like trust and imagination, but that get buried in adult-conceived concepts and religious doctrines that are roadblocks to entering the realm of the loving-parent-SOURCE (by whatever other name or title and in whatever other language).
A perfect example is what happened when this same “adult” mind hijacked a way provided by the same source that gave us the above opening sentence in its original form in the Aramaic language.
What do I have to live twice?
Translated into the English language as, “You must be born again” and used to propagate a certain religious movement conceived by the same kind of mature, educated “adult” mind, and that can only be understood by those who go through a long arduous study with the same kind of “adult” mind.
It cannot be understood that way, because only the childlike can find the way.
Here’s one way to begin, in two simple steps:
1) For just a moment, believe this perfect Daddy/Mommy/Spirit-Parent is approachable.
I want it NOW!
2) Now, just as a trusting child, begin demanding in childlike fashion, in your own baby words:
“I want, I want, I want YOUR way to be childlike”
…and don’t stop demanding it UNTIL you ARE childlike and know that you can trust and be joined together again with the “perfect parent” SOURCE of everything.
Because we all have unbelievable amounts of “adult” baggage the moment of believing will pass …recapture the moment of believing HE/IT/SHE is approachable and re-enter by daily, moment by moment, repeating the two steps UNTIL …and you’ll have perfect child-like intimacy with your perfect SPIRIT-Daddy-Mommy, non-stop.
Fundamental Concepts from Doug Ferguson
|
Of all the things that never cease to amaze me are the parallels between science and religion in regards to the fact that both are governed by men that fail (using the words of Einstein here) “to critique fundamental concepts and therefore are ruled by them rather than getting to objective truth.”
>>>Quote ”The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don’t tell you what to see”<<<
I have previously shared the fact that my life has been dramatically and dynamically changed via one simple prayer…
“Daddy/Mommy/Spirit, remove any preconceived ideas that keep me from being ever increasingly controlled by YOU.” That simple utterance has been the basis for my questioning everything. Scooping up, so to speak, all the interpretations I have placed on any number of what I previously considered to be fundamental and unalterable principles and placing them before my one and only perfect Daddy/Mommy/Spirit for examination and correction.
My challenge to anyone ready to listen, therefore, has not been to “buy in” to my pet doctrines, but to place their own pet theologies in front of our SPIRIT-PARENT for examination and critique. Life has become far simpler. Instead of mentally wrangling over some obscure passage that some reader has sent me as a “proof text” to under-gird his or her point, or to fire back with my own proof text… I simply realize that our SPIRIT-PARENT has all the answers and that I can come to HER/HIM/IT in “spirit and truth” because HE/SHE/IT is always available.
But then if everything is brought into question we may find ourselves going into: A Totally Different Perspective – Guaranteed…
- How much of what I know is useful?
- In what way is it useful?
- What are the primary criteria for adjudging if something is “useful” or not?
- Does what I know contribute to, or distract me from my purpose in life?
- Is what I am doing at this very moment contributing to, or distracting me from my purpose in life?
- Note: If I don’t know what my purpose is for living – I will find the above questions of little value.
- How can I know my purpose for life?
- Does my purpose for living simply revolve around knowing what my purpose is?
- What if I AM?
If true that I AM – there is no need to search further. Just declare it and live with it. Amen brother. Wake up, take up thy bed and walk! At the very least stop sleep walking.

Doug Ferguson on the Authority of Believers -- Powerful Article -- Relevant to Healing at http://spiritualhealingsource.com/?p=518
A few days ago, in response to my post about the Kenneth E Hagin video “Secret to my Success” Doug Ferguson sent me the following:
Hi James - this prompted the following:
That was then, this is NOW
I just watched an hour and a half video urged onto his email list by a dear friend and brother, James Robertson. The video is a classic by Kenneth Hagin, “Healing is YOURS” – here’s the link:
https://youtu.be/B-5G4D-CddQ
I had been asking how to respond to another brother whose wife is being besieged by life threatening tumors and currently undergoing medical treatment.
The idea that kept swirling around in my mind was the above title …”That was then, this is now.”
“Send him the video and Seven Secrets” – a seven part Brad Cullen series I was guided to write 12 years ago. That was also “then, this is NOW.” What’s this mean? I asked . . .
“It is the will of I AM that, I AM that she be healed, watching the video and having her husband read part seven of the series to her will renew her faith. Send them NOW,” I heard loudly and clearly. http://spiritualhealingsource.com/?p=518
In simple trust and obedience I know to do what I’m guided.
SECRET SEVEN
Choose to use your authority and use it relentlessly!
Where does your Authority come from?
When I first understood that every believer has authority, and I began to use it, some people began saying that I had “the gift of faith.” I corrected them and said that I did not have faith the way they were using the term, I just understood my authority in Christ and knew how to use it.
Here’s how it came about. As you recall, Jesus appointed seventy disciples in addition to the twelve. He sent them out with specific instructions (Luke 10:1-24). When I came across this passage I was impressed by the clarity with which he spoke to these seventy. No parables here, just straight talk about what to do and how to go about doing it.
When the seventy returned they excitedly told Jesus, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”
I did a word study in the original language and discovered that Jesus’ response was very precise: “Yes I know,” Jesus answered, “I saw Satan fall just like lighting from above. I am telling you that I give you all authority and miracle working power to trample on these agents of the enemy and they will not be able to harm you. You will be able to undo their negative miracles.”
Are these the purveyors of Negative Miracles?
“What does this mean and is it for today?” I asked, and received an inner assurance that indeed it was for today. I knew that I had much to learn, but I also knew that what I had been recently witnessing and knew from experience was real, was for ALL believers. I knew that demons were real because I had seen them manifest. I now understood what the “negative miracles” were; they were diseases of all sorts as well as mental illness caused by these enemy agents. I had seen dramatic evidence that when you get rid of the demons causing these problems the problems went away as well. I also understood clearly that the ability to wield this authority over enemy agents was not something to “get off on,” or be particularly excited about – no, our excitement is to come from the knowledge that our names are recorded in the kingdom of God!
During this period I met a few people that were part of different groups that went by the name, “The Seventy.” They had no connection with each other, but they took their instructions from this same passage in Luke – and they had the same understanding that I had received. They had no apparent human leadership, but always went two by two according to those same instructions and they each knew of others in “the seventy,” but again, there was no apparent organization or connection.
Also, it was during this period that my “eyes were opened” to what Jesus practiced himself regularly and said was the only way to adequately prepare for using this authority and dunamis (pronounced doo-nah-meese and literally meaning the ability to perform the apparent miraculous) against enemy agents.
I learned that to build on the authority that each of us have, I had to be relentless and not give up because of apparent failure.
Is this how you build Authority?
Jesus told a rather long story about a judge that didn’t care too much about administering real justice. But there was a widow that wouldn’t leave him alone. Somebody kept stealing her stuff. She kept on bugging him and bugging this judge. She kept crying out, “I want justice for me from my adversary!” Over and over and over again she would go to the judge. For a long time this judge didn’t pay any attention to her.
Then it finally dawned on him… “This woman is going to wear me out,” he said to himself, “So I am going to avenge her.”
Jesus said, “Pay attention to what this unrighteous judge said. Now then, do you think God will not avenge those that belong to Him… even though they are far from perfect? I tell you that He will avenge them and speedily so. Yet when I come, will I really find this kind of faith in operation?” What kind of faith? This faith of relentless pursuit!
This is the kind of faith Jesus is talking about. It has nothing to do with how good we’ve been or how righteous we are – it has to do with continually demanding that we be avenged for all that has been stolen from us. We have been bought and paid for, but our adversary has stolen what belongs to us, i.e., perfect health, prosperity and liberty – yes abundance in all things including faith and the authority of our Dad.
Every day I get e-mails from people that are having horrific problems, and are filled with all kinds of theological and doctrinal understanding about what they call “faith.” Yet they miss the essence of this kind of faith… the kind of faith Jesus is looking for. Crying out day and night to the ultimate Judge of things, “avenge me of my adversary!” and doing so relentlessly.
One of the things that some people miss is that faith comes by relentlessly going after it. In other words faith is obtained through the relentless application of this kind of faith. It builds upon itself.
Some write to me saying that they have not seen what I have seen – therefore it isn’t for everyone. What they fail to realize is that the reason I am able to share these things, is because I took Jesus’ words seriously and relentlessly pursued what he said was for everyone that believed. I didn’t receive my first understanding of the authority we all have until I was in my fifties. That understanding grew and continues to grow today as I relentlessly pursue the ONE that gives it – the ONE that avenges my adversary so that I am able to do what Jesus said each of us would be able to do if we believe (enough).
This, remember, isn’t about me doing anything. It is about anyone being able to do the seemingly impossible by taking what Jesus said seriously, that is, that we can do all the things Jesus did IF we believe enough. Getting rid of all kinds of diseases and maladies, making the blind see, the deaf hear, getting rid of demons and the problems they cause – and yes calming storms. It most likely won’t happen the first day that you choose to believe and begin to actively and relentless pursue it, but it will if you keep pursuing the One that gives authority and faith.
Is He just another Sunday preacher?
In the 1960s I remember meeting an older man who was a Pentecostal preacher with a small “storefront” church. After chatting for several minutes and getting quite comfortable with him, I admitted that something was troubling me. I had been wondering if “speaking in tongues,” healing the sick, casting out demons and other such manifestations that occurred in Pentecostal churches and the basis for which is found in the 16th chapter of Mark were for everyone.
“Oh my no,” he said easily, “Jesus said these would be signs that would follow them who believe. So if you don’t believe it there is no reason to be bothered because they won’t follow you, it’s as simple as that.”
And so it is – just that simple. The good news is that if we don’t believe – there is a remedy for it. Don’t forget Jesus said nothing is impossible to them that believe. If we make excuses for not doing what Jesus said we would do, or argue against what Jesus said we would do IF we believe — don’t worry about it – nothing will happen.
In Freedom,
Brad Cullen
ADDED NOTE
I feel compelled today, July 28th 2010, to add a postscript. The road to acquiring more faith is not paved with logic, reason and study. It is a simple path. Speak authoritatively, over and over and over again that you want the perfect will (desires and purposes) of the SOURCE (by whatever other title or name) including more and ever increasing faith. Keep doing this UNTIL you become aware that your faith has increased and is constantly, continually, ever increasing. You will find that the more you have, the more you want. The more you want the more you will have and the more you have the more you will continue demanding that the obstacles to acquiring ever more faith get out of your way. It really is that simple and defies all the logic and reasoning of man.

How do I activate God's healing power?
Overview
1. Receive and share words of knowledge for healing.
2. Pray with authority to release Gods power.
3. Keep ministering to people when they don’t instantly get healed.
4. Use the five-step prayer model.
5. Step out, take risks and watch God do the miraculous.
Picture Yourself Healed by Kenneth W. Hagin (Junior)
If you need healing, find and meditate on a Bible passage that tells of someone receiving their healing.
In other words, as you drive to work, go about your day, cook dinner—even as you begin to go to sleep at night, imagine that person’s story. Picture the passage in your mind, reliving in your thoughts the experiences that person went through according to the Word. This will paint a picture of God the Healer at work.
After you have a picture of that person receiving healing from God firmly painted in your heart and mind, begin to picture yourself receiving healing! Picture Jesus receiving stripes upon His back to obtain your healing. Imagine Him on the Cross, providing total well-being for you—body, soul, and spirit. Dwell on God’s healing power at work in your body, and see it affecting a healing and a cure in your particular situation.

How to Get and Keep Your Healing – Kenneth Copeland Ministries -- June 6, 2018
You don’t ever have to deal with sickness or disease again. No matter what your situation, you can learn how to get and keep your healing once and for all!
Your days of sickness and disease are over. No matter how long you’ve been struggling, no matter how serious your situation—healing belongs to you. Even if you feel like you’ve been standing for so long, you aren’t sure if you’ll ever see a manifestation—these words are for you.
Not only are we to expect healing, but we should also believe to live in divine health. John G. Lake said, “Divine healing is the removal by the power of God of the disease that has come upon the body. But, divine health is to live day by day, hour by hour in touch with God so that the life of God flows into the body just as the life of God flows into the mind or flows into the spirit.”
Healing is your Covenant right. If you want it—it’s yours. It’s not up for debate, as far as the Word of God is concerned. The problem is, most Christians haven’t truly believed it. They haven’t let it reach down into their hearts and become truth to them. God has said it…but they haven’t yet believed. If that is the case with you today, know this—it is God’s will to heal you. It is in His redemptive plan. It has to be His will because He laid our sickness and disease on Jesus, just as He did our sin (Isaiah 53:5). God made His Word plain, and He always keeps His Word.
Has an isolated experience caused you to believe maybe it isn’t God’s will for everyone to be healed? Don’t let past experiences be the basis for your belief—let the truth of God’s Word be your standard. God’s will for you is healing.
You can take hold of what belongs to you and live in divine health by following the strategies outlined in the Word of God. Here is how you can receive and keep your healing.
1. Stand on the Word of God
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.” –Psalm 103:2-3 (NKJV)
Anytime a believer has a problem receiving or keeping healing, he usually suffers from ignorance of God’s Word and of his rights and privileges in Jesus Christ. Many people who claim to have faith don’t trust God when it comes to healing. They know the promises, and they even believe healing is for today—they just don’t believe it is necessarily for them. Maybe God won’t. That’s a dangerous thought.
Here’s something you need to understand: Healing always comes.
God’s Word is the vehicle that will get you there. If you are well, God’s Word will keep you well. If you are sick, it will heal you and then keep you well. God’s Word is medicine. But you must give it attention (Proverbs 4:20-23). That means you pay attention to what it says, believe it and act on it.
If you’re bogged down and feeling pressure, that’s a sure sign you’re not giving enough attention to the Word of God. The Word is what causes your life to work. It causes healing to come.
To stand on the Word of God is to meditate on it and make it final authority in your life. You put it in your heart until the reality of your healing has more power and validity to you than the symptoms of sickness coming on your body. One thing you must know: God’s Word does not fail! So, if you catch yourself saying, “Well, the Word isn’t working for me,” then you know automatically that you are not standing.
Be diligent about keeping God’s Word in your heart. Continually read it, listen to it, think about it, talk about it. It will be health to your body (Proverbs 4:22). And when you get healed, you keep your healing by staying on healing scriptures and telling people about your healing.
Keep taking the medicine. Keep taking the Word of God. Keep taking that medicine after you’re healed, and you’ll stay healed. The Word of God is life and health.
2. Don’t Let Symptoms Talk to You
“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body.” –Romans 4:19 (KJV)
To receive healing, you must make the truth of healing more real than the symptoms in your body. But to keep healing, the fight is really on. The devil has no intention of letting you keep your healing once you receive it. He’s going to try and hoodwink you into giving it up.
So, how does someone lose their healing? Satan will send lying symptoms trying to get the healed person to receive it. Then, as Kenneth E. Hagin describes it, “The minute the first symptoms show up, they say, ‘I thought the Lord healed me. I guess He didn’t.’ And when they say that, they open the door to the devil. Instead of rising up and meeting the devil with the Word of God and commanding his power to be broken, they yield.”[1]
This happened to a man who had been healed in his ears—his hearing had been restored. He was hearing perfectly for several days. But, then, about a week later, he couldn’t hear anymore. The Lord showed him what happened.
As he went about his daily business, the devil would hop on his shoulder and say, “Did you notice you can’t hear as well as you did the other day?” Within a few days, that demon had talked him into losing his hearing. He yielded to it.
That’s why Jesus said, “Hold tightly to what you have until I come” (Revelation 2:25).
How do you hold tightly to your healing?
When the enemy comes at you with symptoms of sickness, you can’t crawl up in the bed and whine, “Why does this always happen to me?” Instead, stomp your foot and say, “Glory be to God, this body is off limits to you, Satan. I refuse to allow you to put that foul thing on my body after Jesus has already taken it for me. So, you might as well pack it up and go home right now!”
It won’t always be easy—you have to make an effort. You have to stand for it, and fight the good fight of faith. But don’t let that scare you. It’s a fight you can win. You can win because Jesus gave you everything you need to win 2,000 years ago. He took your weakness and gave you His strength. He took your sin and gave you His righteousness. He took your sickness and gave you His health. He took every defeat and gave you His victory in its place.
You are the heir of the Greatest Exchange ever made.
3. Let Go of Doubt
“And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.” –Matthew 13:58 (NASB)
The only record of anything hindering Jesus from accomplishing the will of God to heal everyone occurred in Nazareth. He could do no mighty works because of their unbelief. Doubt will rob you of God’s blessings. Unbelief will leave you sick.
The Word of God defeats unbelief. When a person receives the Word, doubt, defeat and discouragement have to leave. So, don’t hang on to any doubt or unbelief. Don’t even dwell on it for a moment. Let the Word of God drive it out. Your life depends on it.
Faith should be highly developed in the Church concerning healing. If it were, Christians would be as quick to believe they are healed as they are to believe they are saved. But seeds of doubt and unbelief have polluted the hearts of believers.
Remember, doubt comes by hearing unbelief, so be careful what you listen to! God wants you healed. But He works only by faith.
Watch as Kenneth Copeland teaches more on how you can receive your healing by faith and love.
4. Cast Your Cares on the Lord
“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”—1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)
There are people right now who are on the verge of a manifestation of healing, and it hasn’t come for one reason—they are holding onto their physical condition. In other words, it’s all they think about.
They worry about whether their medication is working, they think about whether or not they should go back to the doctor, get a different doctor, or try yet another special diet. They are so wrapped up in their condition, they have a tight hold on it, and without knowing it, they haven’t let it go and given it to the Lord.
When it comes to receiving and keeping divine healing, Andrew Murray said, “The first thing to learn is to cease to be anxious about the state of your body.”[2]
God loves you so much. He wants you to give every care, worry and anxiety to Him. He’s the One who can deal with it properly! As long as you are holding onto the care of your sickness, you are taking ownership of it, and the Bible says when you do so, you’re failing to humble yourself before God (1 Peter 5:6).
The Word works. Let the Word fight its own fight. Just rest in God, and one day you’ll wake up, and your symptoms will be gone.
5. Confess and Possess
“He will have whatever he says.” –Mark 11:23 (NKJV)
Are you speaking to your mountain or letting your mountain tower over you? You see, faith will move mountains, but it won’t even move a molehill unless you release it with the words of your mouth. Your prayers should line up with the Word of God—just as the words coming out of your mouth should, to achieve results.
Learn the 7 Steps to Prayer that Bring Results. -- https://blog.kcm.org/7-steps-prayer-bring-results/
If we are going to obey God, we must talk to the mountain of sickness and cast it out of our lives (Mark 11:23).
How powerful are words?
Years ago, a minister went to visit a man in the hospital who was unconscious and given up to die by the doctors. The Lord told the minister to tell the man’s wife that if she would obey Mark 11:23, her husband would be healed. So, she did! Day after day, she sat next to her unconscious husband and said, “My husband will live and not die, in Jesus’ Name…My husband will live and not die, in Jesus’ Name.” As a result, the young man was fully healed.

Start speaking the Word today. Call things that be not as though they were. As you do, your faith will be strengthened, and your healing will come!
6. Never Let Go
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering.” –Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)
As you put God’s prescription for health and healing to work in your life—putting the Word in your heart, speaking it, resisting the devil—don’t be discouraged if you don’t see immediate results. Sometimes healing comes instantly, but there are other times when it comes more gradually. So, don’t let your lingering symptoms cause you to doubt. Cast out every thought the devil sends your way.
Then, having done all to stand, stand until your healing is fully manifested. Hold your ground. Don’t waver. James 1:6-8 tells us that one who wavers and doesn’t stand strong is unstable and double-minded, and won’t receive from God.
Remember this: “He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]…. you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised” (Hebrews 10:23, 36 AMP).
When pain comes, when symptoms come, what do you do? You focus on the Word of God; you focus on the promise. Don’t let the devil sway you from your faith stand. Don’t move an inch! Hold on tight!
As you put this plan into action—standing on the Word of God, staying out of doubt and worry, resisting the devil and standing firm—you will position yourself to get and keep your healing. You don’t ever have to be sick again. God’s best for you is to live in divine health every day. Now, go ahead—receive your healing!

Healing: A Forever-Settled Subject by Kenneth W. Hagin
One of the paramount questions believers ask today is not whether God is able to heal, but whether He is willing to heal. Is it always God's will to heal? You can know for sure.
When we want to understand God's will about a subject, we go to God's Word. God's Word is God's will. And the Bible tells us that healing is the will of God. The Bible also tells us, "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven" (Ps. 119: 89) and "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my [Jesus'] words shall not pass away" (Luke 21:33). Healing is a forever-settled subject because God's Word is forever settled!
God Took Care of Sin and Sickness
Most of us understand that God dealt with the sin problem of humanity by sending His Son Jesus to be a Sacrifice and a Substitute for us. Isaiah 53:5 says, "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. . . ." First Peter 2:24 says, "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree. . . ."
So we know that God dealt with the sin problem in Christ's great substitutionary work. But both of these scriptures also state that God dealt with sickness and disease for us in the same act of redemption.
ISAIAH 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
1 PETER 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.
The prophet Isaiah declared God's will concerning healing when he said about the Messiah, "with his stripes we are healed." The Apostle Peter restates God's will concerning healing in First Peter 2:24: "by whose stripes ye were healed." Isaiah prophesied of the coming Messiah and of redemption. Peter was an eyewitness to what took place as described by Isaiah. He was present when the Roman soldiers put those stripes on Jesus' back and hung Him on the cross at Golgotha's hill.
Let's look at another New Testament counterpart of Isaiah 53:5.
MATTHEW 8:16-17
16 When the even was come, they brought unto him [Jesus] many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias [Isaiah] the prophet, saying, HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES, AND BARE OUR SICKNESSES.
By healing the sick in His earthly ministry, Jesus was fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy ("with his stripes we are healed") before He ever went to the cross and legally obtained redemption for us. Friend, healing is one of the benefits of our redemption! According to the Word of God, Jesus not only died and rose again for our sins, but He died and rose again for our sicknesses and diseases too. Healing belongs to us just as salvation belongs to us. Healing is part and parcel of our redemption!
He Healed ALL of Our Diseases
Looking at the Psalms, we again see that healing is one of the benefits of our redemption. Psalm 103:2-3 says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his BENEFITS: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
Notice verse 3 says the Lord heals all of our diseases . . . not just a few, and not just our minor ailments. The word "all" means nothing left out. Nothing is left out of the redemptive work of Christ: not a headache, not a stomachache, not any kind of cancer, nor any kind of heart trouble. In God's plan of redemption, every sickness and disease has been dealt with!
What About Jesus?
Now, what about Jesus, Who consummated our redemption in His death, burial, and resurrection? Jesus came to the earth to do the will of the Father. In fact, over and over again, Jesus said, "I have come to do the will of Him who sent Me." In John 14:9, He said, "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father." As Jesus walked this earth and fulfilled His earthly ministry, He was the will of God in action!
Let's look at yet another passage of Scripture that further illustrates God's will concerning healing.
LUKE 5:12-13
12 And it came to pass, when he [Jesus] was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I WILL: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
The question concerning God's will to heal is answered very explicitly in this passage. In verses 12 and 13, when the leper questioned Jesus specifically concerning His will to heal, Jesus answered, "I will!" The New International Version says, " 'Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.' Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. 'I am willing,' he said. 'Be clean!' And immediately the leprosy left him." The New English Bible translates this verse: " 'Indeed I will; be clean again.' " Another translation says, " 'It is my pleasure; be clean.' "
Verse 12 of the King James Version says the man was full of leprosy, indicating he had leprosy that was in the last stages. Leprosy is a horrific disease that deforms and mutilates the body as it progresses. We can gather from this verse that since the man was full of leprosy, the disease was probably more advanced than just a spot on his arm or leg. Yet with one sentence from the Master's lips: "I will: be thou clean," the leper was healed (v. 13)!
Jesus Is Willing . . . Be Healed!
Most Christians today don't have a problem seeing Jesus in His earthly ministry as the Healer. They don't question that He was anointed by God and that He had the power to heal sickness and disease (Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38). Most Christians don't even question so much Jesus' ability to heal people today as they do His willingness to demonstrate that healing power on their behalf.
However, any question about Jesus' willingness to heal is answered very vividly in this account of the leper in Luke chapter 5. And since Jesus hasn't changed (Heb. 13:8; Mal. 3:6), and He was willing to heal then, He is willing to heal now. He's willing that you be healed.
We need to have faith not only in Jesus' power and ability to heal, but also in His willingness and compassion to heal. We should no longer question whether or not Jesus wants us healed, because He provided healing for us in His great act of redemption. And He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He hasn't changed! He is still saying today, "I will!"

Back to the Basics by Rev. Kenneth W. Hagin
No matter how well we know a subject, if we don’t continue to practice or review what we have learned, we will forget some things. There are certain subjects we need to continually brush up on, and healing is one of them.
Often when ministers in the “word of faith” movement begin a sermon by saying, “I’m going to teach on the subject of healing,” most people in the congregation will say to themselves, I already know about healing. Well, people may think they already know all there is to know about healing, but when there’s a healing line, more than half the congregation will get in line for prayer! That tells me they don’t know as much about healing as they think. Or they don’t know how to walk in the light of what they know.
No matter how well we know a subject, if we don’t continue to practice or review what we have learned, we will forget some things. A person may have acquired spelling, math, or computer skills, but if he hasn’t used them in a while, when he does try to use them, he may discover that his skills are rusty. The same thing can happen in spiritual matters. You see, many Christians know about the subject of healing, but they’re not as proficient in healing as they could be—simply because they haven’t practiced what they know. In other words, they don’t continually study the subject and act on what they’ve learned.
There are certain subjects we need to continually brush up on, and healing is one of them.
The Bible teaches that there are many ways to receive healing: through the healing anointing; through a manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit, through the laying on of hands; through the Name of Jesus; and so forth. In this article, I want to study the life and power that reside in God’s Word. God’s Word is the never-failing remedy for whatever you need. No matter the sickness or disease, God’s Word has the answer for you!
PROVERBS 4:20–22
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they [God’s words] are life unto those that find them, and HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH.
According to this passage of Scripture, what is health to all man’s flesh? God’s words are! Does this passage say, “Attend to My words, for they are health unto your spirit”? No! It says God’s Word is health to your flesh!
You see, God is interested in our flesh. He wants His Spirit dwelling in a body that is healthy and whole, because He wants what is on the inside (His Spirit) to be demonstrated or manifested on the outside.
In John 6:63, Jesus tells us that God’s Word is full of life—of healing, health, and happiness. It’s full of whatever you need at any given moment. God’s Word is where your answer is!
JOHN 6:63
63 . . . the words that I [Jesus] speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Yes, there are powerful moves of God’s Spirit and awesome physical manifestations of God’s power.
But God’s power is also in His Word! Not only does His Word contain power; it contains life.
You see, the Word of God is like medicine to our body. What happens when a person takes medicine?
The medicine works to heal his body! We need to learn how to take the medicine of the Word of God and let it heal our body.
Let’s take a closer look at Proverbs 4:20–22:
PROVERBS 4:20–22
20 My son, ATTEND to my words; INCLINE THINE EAR unto my sayings.
21 LET THEM NOT DEPART from thine eyes; KEEP THEM in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
The word “attend” in verse 20 means to give one’s undivided attention. This verse could be better understood if we read it like this: “Give your undivided attention to the words of God.” When someone says, “I want your undivided attention,” we know that means we’re not supposed to be thinking about anything else, looking at anything else, or doing anything else, but we’re supposed to focus directly on what that person is saying to us.
And that is exactly what God wants us to do! He wants us to shut out everything around us, and, without any interruptions, give our undivided attention to His Word! That is what the phrase “attend to My words” in Proverbs 4:20 tells us.
The second part of Proverbs 4:20 states, “Incline your ear to My sayings.” The word “incline” simply means to listen. Again, we could better understand verse 20 if we read it this way: “Listen with your ears to what I am saying.” God is telling us to open up our ears to what He is saying.
It’s interesting to note that a person can have perfect hearing, but if he decides he doesn’t want to listen to someone who’s talking, he can tune him or her out, so to speak. In other words, the sound of someone talking goes in his ears, but he doesn’t really hear what that person is saying.
We shouldn’t tune out God’s Word. We need to open up our ears. In opening up our ears to His Word, we are closing our ears to everything that’s contrary to what God says. So many times, we listen to what God says, but we also listen to what So-and-so says. We begin listening to this person or that person, but it’s only what God says that matters!
It’s important for us to open our ears to the Word of God and turn off everything else so that our undivided attention is on what God has to say. That is where the victory is. You see, when you close your ears to outside things and keep your ears open to the Word of God, you are closing your ears to fear, doubt, and unbelief.
What we hear is very important, because what we hear and pay attention to is what we will respond to.
Proverbs 4:21 says, “Let them [God’s words] not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.” The phrase “Do not let them depart from your eyes” doesn’t mean we are supposed to walk around with our Bible hanging down from our forehead over our eyes! If we did walk around like that, we would bump into things, and we would never get anything accomplished! But that phrase does mean that when we are facing the circumstances of life—sickness, disease, financial lack, and so forth—we are to look to the Word of God instead of looking at the circumstances.
If you’ve been attacked with sickness, you can probably look at your body and see that an illness is present, or you can feel the presence of that condition. But you aren’t to respond to that! Instead, look to the Word of God, which says, “You are healed and made whole” (Isa. 53:5; I Peter 2:24), and respond to what God’s Word says!
Many people go to God and respond to His Word in the bad times, but in the good times, they don’t respond to God. They don’t give God’s Word the same attention they did when they were going through a test or trial. Then, when they find themselves in bad times again, they often falter. We need to respond to God’s Word in the bad times and in the good times! In His Word, God tells us what to do and how to act in every situation and circumstance of everyday life. He also tells us how to receive healing and how to stay healed. God’s Word instructs us on how to get out of our difficulties and troubles and how to stay delivered!
We need to respond to God’s Word no matter what kind of circumstances we may be facing. Unfortunately, many people don’t want to respond to God’s Word if it means they have to live a godly life-style. Knowing they have to live a certain way puts responsibility on them!
God has given us His Word, but we have to act on it! If we want to live a successful Christian life, we have a part to play.
By way of illustration, when it comes to taking medicine in the natural, we have certain responsibilities. Most people have had a prescription filled at a pharmacy at one time or another. There are always instructions on the medicine telling how much medicine to take, when to take it, and how to take it. For example, the bottle may read: “Take one tablet every six hours,” “Take one pill three times a day,” or “Take one pill in the morning and one pill at night with food.”
If the person doesn’t follow the instructions, he could get into trouble by taking too much or not enough of the medicine—or by taking the dosages too often or not often enough.
When someone is taking medicine, he must be very conscientious to take it according to the doctor’s prescription, because the medicine will not be effective, or it won’t be as effective, if it is not taken properly—according to instructions.
We must do the same thing with the “prescription” that God has written for us. It is very simple, and it is found in Proverbs 4:20 and 21. In this passage, we find four steps to taking the medicine of God’s Word.
1. Attend, or give attention, to God’s Word.
2. Incline your ear to God’s Word—listen to it!
3. Don’t let God’s Word depart from before your eyes. In other words, focus your eyes on what God’s Word says about your situation, not on what the circumstances say. Instead of believing a negative report, believe the report of God’s Word, which says you are healed and whole.
4. Keep God’s Word in your heart.
Regarding step number three—keeping your eyes focused on the Word rather than on the bad report—I don’t want anyone to misunderstand me on the issue. I thank God for good doctors; I believe they help as much as they can. I have nothing against doctors, and I don’t have any problem with someone who goes to see one! There is absolutely nothing wrong with Christians going to see a doctor. Going to a doctor does not take away from your faith as long as you keep the Word as your focus—keep it uppermost in your heart and mind. You must simply keep God’s report as your focus, and believe what His Word has to say.
There is power, health, and life in the Word of God! We must hide God’s Word in our heart (Ps. 119:11) so that when we face a test or trial, we will take the Word of God and walk on through to victory.
The Word has come to heal us and to set us free. Psalm 107:20 says, “He [God] sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.” Healing belongs to us!
We must know what the Word of God says for ourselves in order to appropriate it in our lives. And no matter how much we know about God’s Word, we must never forget the basics. You see, no matter how much we grow spiritually, we will never outgrow the basics of God’s Word. And we must continually review what we know on the subject of healing if we want to stay sharp, so to speak, and successfully achieve our objective of walking in divine health.

Healing is one of God’s Benefits by Dale A. Robbins
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases" (Psalms 103:2-3)
The story is told of a young Irishman who once sought to purchase a boat fare to America, where he hoped to immigrate. From his years of savings, he discovered that he had sufficient to pay the fare, but not enough to pay for his meals aboard the ship. However, determined to seek the opportunity for a new life, he booked his passage and managed to scrape a few cents together for a meager bag of cheese and stale bread to carry him through his long journey.
One evening during the first two weeks at sea, the Captain was walking the deck when he noticed the Irishman sitting near the bow eating his cheese and bread.
"Why aren’t you in the galley eating supper with the other passengers?" asked the Captain. The Irishman replied, "I regret sir that I only had sufficient funds to buy passage, but not enough to pay for meals." The Captain looked at him curiously and said, "Son, didn’t you know that when you bought your ticket that your meals were included with your fare?"
Just as the Irishman didn’t realize that his meals were a benefit paid for in the price of his ticket, many Christians are unaware that Christ’s atonement on the cross paid for other benefits besides eternal life. Just as the psalmist said in our text above, "Don’t forget all the Lord’s benefits! He forgives all your sins, and also heals all your diseases!"
Healing is a Part of Christ’s Atonement
Due to mankind’s sin, which brought separation from God’s fellowship, God sent Jesus to endure the sufferings and the brutal execution on the cross, "in our place," as our substitute, so that all mankind could have a "bridge" back to the fellowship and benefits of God. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Cor. 5:21).
Jesus not only purchased the salvation of our soul, but His sufferings also secured our physical healing. In fact, the word "salvation" so frequently used in the New Testament, comes from the Greek, SOTERIA, which means "wholeness and healing, both in the physical and spiritual."
Years before Jesus came to the earth, the prophet Isaiah described the sufferings of the Savior and their reason. He wrote, "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4-5).
The stripes mentioned by Isaiah were the awful lashings upon Jesus’ back by the Roman whips. Thirty nine stripes were the traditional punishment for a condemned prisoner. According to the scripture, these stripes upon Christ were in behalf of our healing (1 Peter 2:24).
Is it God’s will to Heal?
Since the Bible indicates that healing is a part of the reason of our Lord’s sufferings, and is inseparable from the idea of salvation, we must assume that it is as much God’s will to heal you as it is to save you! And of course we know that the Lord wants everyone to be saved (2 Peter 3:9).
Furthermore, the four Gospels show that during Jesus’ earthly ministry, there were eleven occasions that persons approached Jesus for healing. Not once did Jesus turn anyone away or state that it was not His will. This is significant since the Bible is intended to show God’s will for man. In one instance, a leper came to Jesus inquiring whether it was His will to heal him. He said, "Lord, if it is your will you can heal me." Jesus extended his hand and said, "It’s my will; Be healed!" And the man’s leprosy vanished (Matthew 8:2-3).
The scriptures confirm repeatedly that Jesus went about "...healing all who were oppressed by the devil..." (Acts 10:38). It also says, He went to the villages and towns... "healing every sickness and every disease among the people." (Matthew 9:35).
We know that from history, many people derived their names by what they did for a living. For instance, those named "Smith" came from generations of blacksmiths. It was a good way for a person to advertise their trade, "I’m Walter the Smith." Similarly, God identifies His own name by what He does. In the Old Testament, God says that His name is JEHOVAH RAHPA, or "I am the LORD that heals you" (Exodus 15:26).
Think of it! God says that His name is "The Lord that heals you!" How could God reveal His will more clearly than to give himself a name that says He heals you? Not only is it His will, it’s His name - it’s who He is and what He does!
Does this mean everyone will be healed? Obviously, not everyone receives healing in this present life, and all of us will eventually die in our mortal bodies. But even when a believer passes away and goes to Heaven, there they experience God's ultimate gift of healing, as they will never again have any more illness, pain or death.
Jesus, however, didn't focus his teachings on "what if it doesn't happen," but upon the possibilities of what God can do through faith. I can't speculate why some sincere believers haven't experienced divine healing, while others have... which I have personally witnessed hundreds of times. Only the Lord can give us those kind of answers when we reach Heaven. But what we do know from scripture, is that Jesus taught His followers to "believe," to take Him at His Word. And he says, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes" (Mark 9:23).
Five Steps to Receive Healing from God
(1) Submit yourself to God — As much as it is God’s will and desire to heal, such things as unconfessed sin, disobedience, unbelief, or unforgiveness toward others can hinder your reception of healing, and in some instances, could actually be the original cause of your illness. Any affliction should be a time for self-examination, to come before the Lord in humility, surrendering yourself and drawing near to Him. James wrote, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up" (James 4:7-10).
(2) Look to God’s Word — Read and meditate continuously upon the healing promises in the Bible. As you let them absorb into your inner man, it will bring a great sense of assurance. This is the confidence of faith that comes as you open your heart to the Word of God (Rom 10:17). "My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh" (Proverbs 4:20-22). How important it is that we focus upon God’s Word, as this is the source of His healing power. "He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions" (Psalms 107:20).
(3) Pray in Faith — Place your faith in the finished work of Christ’s sufferings in behalf of your sickness or disease. Christ has already paid for your healing and has placed it into effect, making it available to you. Now it’s up to you to accept His finished work by faith. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them" (Mark 11:24).
(4) Call for Church Elders — Request for the elders or ministers of the church to anoint you with oil and pray the prayer of faith over you. The Bible says, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15). Notice that it says the prayer of faith SHALL SAVE THE SICK! Ask the elders and other believers to lay hands on you and pray. "...they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover" (Mark 16:18). Again, notice that it says THEY WILL RECOVER!
(5) Keep Believing — Don’t stop praying and believing! This is the most common reason why some people don’t receive healing. They get discouraged and give up their faith. Most would prefer to have instantaneous healing, but most healings occur gradually over time. Be patient and be steadfast in your faith. Keep praising and thanking Him for your answer. God will be faithful to His Word, if you will be faithful to believe! "...Do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises" (Hebrews 6:12).

10 Ways to Receive Your Healing by Vladimir Savchuk
Healing is mentioned 138 times in the Bible. 1/5 of Jesus’ ministry was healing. One of God’s names is “The Lord who heals” Exodus 15:26, and so, therefore, it is God’s nature to heal. Healing is not just something God does, its Someone He is. He is the Healer. Therefore, our faith is not in healing but in the Healer. It’s also Jesus’ desire to heal. The leper came and asked, “If You willing, You can make me clean?” Jesus replied, “I am willing”. (Reference Luke 5:13). Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever the same. He is still willing today to heal. The most important reason we believe in healing is because Jesus bore our sin along with our sickness on the cross. Matthew 8:16-17. Therefore, sickness is illegal in our body.
A musician does not play the piano to prove that he has fingers, although playing piano proves that he has fingers. The musician plays the piano because he loves music. Jesus does not heal just to prove that He is God, He heals to reveal that He is good.
And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” Exodus 15:26
One of the most powerful verses on healing and divine health. First, God introduces divine health which comes from following His commandments. God’s principles bring health. Some of these principles include drinking plenty of water since your body is 70% made of water. Other principles include healthy eating, we know gluttony is a sin. Esau ate himself out of his blessing. Many people lose their destiny today because their diet is really bad. Active living is another tip for good health and restorative sleep. Remember, principles of the kingdom bring divine health. Power of the kingdom bring divine healing.
But sometimes we can do all of that and still get sick because we live in a fallen world. Also, the world is full of demons and our bodies were born in sin. God introduces Himself to us as our Healer. This healing can come from God in 10 ways:
- Forgiving those who hurt us. In the parable of the unforgiving servant, Jesus shared that he was thrown to torment and torturers Matthew 9:2. Even medical science connects stress to many offenses and illnesses that we develop. If you feel like you have a right to an offense, then remember, the devil has a right to hold you in bondage.
- Throwing away demonic objects. When Achan brought accursed things into his tent, he destroyed 36 good soldiers, along with him and his family. Reference Judges 7:24-25. When you bring charms, dream catchers, demonic literature, demonic paintings, demonic rings and etc it’s an invitation of demons to attack your health.
- Treating Gods word like medicine. He sent His word and healed them Psalm 107:20. When we take God’s word like medicine by meditating, speaking, reading, listening – it has the power to bring healing in our body. Let’s not forget it was the word of God that created our world, it’s powerful enough to change it. Like medicine, God’s word does not work unless it goes into you. Medicine does not work right away, it takes few minutes so is with Gods word, be patient its working in the invisible realm for your good. Sometimes God heals by anointing, other times by you standing on Gods promises.
- Listening to testimonies. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy Revelation 19:10. Every fruit has a seed in it so that once you finish eating the fruit you can plant that seed for another fruit. The same goes with testimonies. They have the power to produce in people the ability to receive from Jesus. David relied on the testimony of his own miracles to fuel his faith for Gods miraculous intervention in his present battles. many of us forget things we should remember (like God’s faithfulness), and remember things we should forget (our past).
- Coming in contact with holy objects. The first one is holy communion. If there are physical consequences to taking communion in unworthy manner (1 Corinthians 11:27-30), then there are benefits to our healing as we take the body of our Lord Jesus. The second one is anointing oil. Jesus instructed disciples to pray with it. Apostles practiced praying with anointing oil. (Reference: Mark 6:13; James 5:14-16). The third one is handkerchiefs Acts 19:12. Jesus’ clothes transferred power to bring healing. Healing comes from Jesus but at times He can use someones clothes as point of contact for His power to manifest. The last one is water. Two cases in the Bible where God used the medium of water to bring healing to someone. Reference 2 Kings 5; John 5.
- Prayer of faith. Faith is like the eye. It’s not meant to see itself but the object in front of it. Faith is meant to see Jesus and the finished work. When two believers join in faith looking to Jesus, God promises to release healing according to James 5:15. No matter how small our faith is, what matters is who our faith is in. Our faith can be small but our God is big. I would rather have small faith in big God then big faith in small God.
- Atmosphere of the presence of God. The Bible says, the power of God was present to heal Luke 5:17. Sometimes there are moments in worship or during service where the presence of God comes tangibly, we should release our faith in those moments and receive our healing. In the presence of God healing is like breathing. It’s easy.
- Releasing of the word of knowledge. Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to bring God’s glory on the scene. There are gifts of healings, working of miracles, gift of faith and gift of word of knowledge 1 Corinthians 12:8. Anytime a word of knowledge is released, faith is given to the person who receives that word of knowledge. Word of knowledge makes it easier to receive faith. It sends a powerful reminder to the person that God knows them and identified them for a miracle.
- Deliverance from demons. There are demons called “spirit of infirmity” and “dumb and deaf spirit” and many others whose sole job is to bring sickness and disease Luke 13:12. Jesus went about healing all who were oppressed by the devil Acts 10:38. In general sickness is demonic oppression but there are cases where demon is behind the sickness and unless we cast out the devil, person will never be healed. We have to allow the Holy Spirit to help us discern the difference.
- Making a vow. Many of the great generals of God were healed after they made a vow to serve God. Hannah received her child after she made a vow to dedicate her little boy to serve God. At times, God is calling us for a particular thing to do on this earth and we are hesitant to respond. But when sickness strikes and we say YES to God, many times God will step in and heal us to be able to use us for His purpose. It’s important that those vows are kept and not broken. As with Samson when the Nazarite vow was broken he lost his vision, freedom and even life.
I found out many people lose their healing. My question became how to keep your healing? The answer may surprise you. You keep your healing the same way you keep your salvation. When symptoms reappear, don’t accept them. Sickness is not your identity. Jesus is your identity. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, not a garbage dump for the devil. Don’t change your confession when symptoms come back. Tell those symptoms that they have the wrong address. Tell them to go back to hell where they came from. Keep declaring that you are a healthy person fighting sickness, not a sick person trying to get healthy.
Here are few prayer points to pray for healing.
1. Son of David have mercy on me. Let Your mercy and favor speak for me.
2. The same Holy Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead quickens my mortal body. Jehovah Rapha is my covenant healer, and with the stripes of Jesus, I was and am healed.
3. Whatever God has not planted in my body, get out and be disgraced now.
4. Every agent of sickness working against my health disappear, in the name of Jesus.
5. I release miracles of healing in my body in the name of Jesus. I believe God for miracles of healing in my life and in my family wherever I go in Jesus’ name.

10 Healing Confessions for Every Day – Kenneth Copeland Ministries
Contending for healing and remaining in divine health can feel like a roller coaster ride. One day you’re feeling strong and ready for the fight, the next day you feel a symptom, still haven’t received what you’re believing for, and you’re tempted to give up. Can you relate?
The key to your success lies in consistency. Consistency in what you say, what you believe and how you stand. To help keep you on the narrow path (the one that leads to victory), begin each day with the Word of God.
Here are 10 healing confessions, based on scriptures from the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, for every day to help get you started:
1. I am convinced and sure that He who began a good work in me will continue until the day of Jesus Christ, developing and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in me. (Philippians 1:6)
2. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. You came, Lord, that I may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10)
3. You, Lord, have taken my griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses) and carried my sorrows and pains. You were wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needed for my peace and well-being was upon You, Jesus, and by Your stripes I am healed and made whole. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
4. I gratefully praise You, Lord and do not forget all Your benefits. You forgive all my iniquities and heal all my diseases. You redeem my life from the pit and corruption. You beautify, dignify, and crown me with lovingkindness and tender mercy. You satisfy my mouth with good things, so my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:2-5)
5. I attend to God’s Word and submit to His sayings. I will keep them in my sight, and in the center of my heart. They are life to me, and healing to my whole body. (Proverbs 4:20-22)
6. Because I have made You, Lord, my refuge, and the Most High my dwelling place, there shall no evil befall me, nor any plague or calamity come near my house. Because I have set my love on You, Lord, therefore You deliver me. You set me securely on high, because I have known Your Name. I call upon You, Lord, and You answer me. You, Father, are with me in trouble. You deliver and honor me. With long life You will satisfy me and show me Your salvation. (Psalm 91:9-10, 14-16)
7. God has not given me a spirit of timidity and fear. He has given me a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind, discipline and self-control.(2 Timothy 1:7)
8. You give power to me when I am faint and weary. In my weakness, You increase strength in me. I wait for You [expect, look for, and hope in You] and You renew my strength and power. I will lift up with wings of strength and rise as an eagle. I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint or become tired. (Isaiah 40:29, 31)
9. Even though I have a physical body, I will not carry on warfare according to the flesh, using mere human weapons. The weapons of my warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood), they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. I refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God; and I lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
10. I will not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make my requests known to God. God’s peace, which transcends all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:6-7)
When you consistently speak the Word of God, you will stay on the right road—the one that leads to healing! Keep speaking. Keep believing. Keep standing. Your healing (and continual divine health) is here. Live in it, walk in it and enjoy it. Most of all—TAKE IT AND KEEP IT!

Healing Scriptures to Speak Daily from Kenneth Copeland Ministries
When you need healing—you need faith! To activate and grow your faith for healing, the Word of God is a powerful tool in getting the truth down inside your spirit. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God—over and over and over.
The following scriptures, from the King James Version of the Bible (unless otherwise noted), have helped Kenneth and Gloria Copeland get healed and stay healed, again and again. Read them continually to keep your faith for healing high. Most of them originated from a list made by Dodie Osteen, who was healed of terminal liver cancer many years ago. She took them daily like medicine until every symptom was gone, and she still takes them every day to maintain divine health.
“To be spoken by mouth three times a day until faith comes, then once a day to maintain faith. If circumstances grow worse, double the dosage. There are no harmful side effects.”
—Charles Capps
Exodus 15:26
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Exodus 23:25-26
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
Deuteronomy 7:14-15
Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
1 Kings 8:56
Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
Psalm 91:9-10, 14-16
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 107:17, 19-21
Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalm 118:17
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
Proverbs 4:20-24
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Jeremiah 1:12
Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Beat your ploughshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Nahum 1:9
What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
Matthew 8:2-3
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matthew 8:16-17
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 15:30-31
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
Matthew 18:18-19
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 21:21-22
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Mark 10:27
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Mark 11:22-24
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mark 16:14-18
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Luke 6:19
And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
Luke 9:2

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Romans 4:16-21
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Romans 8:2, 11
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Galatians 3:13-14, 29
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Philippians 2:13 (AMPC)
[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Philippians 4:6-9 (AMPC)
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).
Hebrews 10:35-36
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Hebrews 11:11
Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 5:14-16
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 John 3:21-22
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1 John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
3 John 2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Last Friday’s broadcast -- The Essence of my message regarding Prayer
Over the years I have written a significant amount regarding Prayer and published significant lists of prayers as evidenced on the “Prayer” webpage. It therefore seemed appropriate to consolidate all of these writings into one coherent teaching aligned with my present understanding. Hence this teaching.
