2000.10.1.01 Developments In Israel The War Of Gog And Magog And The Beginning Of Great Tribulation? Created by James3 on 6/28/2019 7:47:08 PM Developments In Israel The War Of Gog And Magog And The Beginning Of Great Tribulation?
The developments in Israel over the past five days have potentially great spiritual significance.
- The first day of the Jewish New Year, as currently recognized, was 30 September.
- The day of Atonement is Monday 9 October.
- The Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles (widely held to be the day of Jesus birth) is 22 October (unless there are slight errors in the modern Jewish calendar as some believe).
In the extracts of information below you will find:
An analysis posted on the http://www.6001.com web site some months ago which indicated that the War of Gog and Magog (Ezekial 39) would commence on 29 September this year. Refer also Ezekial 39:11-15 quoted below.
A wide range of information posted on the http://www.templemount.org web site over some considerable time which indicates the significance of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in this age AND which reports what has been going on behind the scenes to give rise to the current tension in Israel.
A series of reports from the http://www.cnn.com (CNN News) web site which indicate that the violence began on 28 September (correlating closely to the prediction of 29 September - keep in mind that there is a 12 hour difference between Bible days and current days - Bible days begin at sunset NOT sunrise).
Ezekial 7:3 - 17 which seems to speak of the utter destruction of Israel these verses were given to me on 2 July in the context of a prophecy concerning the destruction of Jerusalem.
Matthew 24:15-31 which speaks of Great Tribulation and the "Abomination in the Temple" - it is possible that the activities on the Temple Mount could constitute the abomination in the Temple or at least part thereof - refer also a previous mailing regarding the level of fornication, divorce and adultery in the church being an abomination in the Temple of the Holy Spirit which comprises all believers.
Taken all together there appear to be strong grounds to consider that the War of Gog and Magog may be in the process of breaking AND that GREAT TRIBULATION may be about to break on the church.
There are certainly strong grounds to declare that God is calling ALL His people to sanctify themselves and make themselves Holy and set apart for His service in these days and particularly that we should all earnestly consider our sins and repent. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for our sins is of no avail if we do not confess our sins to Him and repent and receive the forgiveness that He purchased for us.

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- A visit by Likud Party leader Ariel Sharon to the site known as the Temple Mount by Jews sparked a clash on Thursday between stone-throwing Palestinians and Israeli troops, who fired tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd.
Other clashes erupted in the West Bank town of Ramallah.
More than 30 people, most Israeli soldiers, were hurt in the Jerusalem clashes, which began after Sharon left what Jews call the Temple Mount and Muslims call al-Haram as-Sharif, the Noble Sanctuary

Ariel Sharon: once again at the center of Arab-Israeli conflict October 2, 2000

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) -- Few are indifferent to Ariel Sharon, the hawkish politician whose visit to the most sensitive shrine in the Holy Land triggered Israeli-Palestinian violence that has resulted in dozens of deaths.
Some Israelis revere him as the true protector of Jewish rights; others loathe him as a headstrong leader who has undermined peace efforts. And Palestinians blame him for the deaths of Arabs in conflicts dating back decades.
Last Thursday, when Sharon entered the disputed hilltop in the Old City of Jerusalem, where two mosques are built atop the ruins of the biblical Jewish Temples, there was little doubt it would raise political and religious tensions.
"A visit like that, well planned, well reported, with so much security, (had to) cause something," said Israel's dovish Justice Minister Yossi Beilin, a Sharon critic.
Muslims run the site, which they call Haram As-Sharif, though Israel has sovereignty over what they call the Temple Mount, and Jews are allowed to visit there.
Scuffles broke out during and after Sharon's visit, and a day later widespread violence erupted. Nearly 50 people have been killed and more than 1,000 injured, the vast majority Palestinians.
The U.S. State Department singled out Sharon for rare criticism. "We were quite concerned that the visit by Sharon to this site risked creating tensions," spokesman Richard Boucher said last week. "And, in fact, it did."
Sharon, who declared his visit a demonstration of Israeli sovereignty over the site, shrugged off blame. "It must be clearly understood that it wasn't my visit to the Temple Mount -- the holiest site for Jews and under full Israeli sovereignty -- that ignited the current outbreak of violence," he wrote Monday in a letter to Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
Sharon accused the Palestinian Authority of having orchestrated the violence for gains at the negotiating table, a charge echoed by moderate Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, whom Sharon is trying to depose with a no-confidence vote when parliament reconvenes this month.

Israel is pushing an initiative to hand sovereignty on the Temple Mount to permanent members of the UN Security Council, in the latest effort to break through to a final status agreement with the Palestinians.

An inevitable war with the Islamic world over Jerusalem is coming into view over the horizon.
In fact, according to a poll published on April 3rd, most Israelis believe another war with Arab states is on its way if the crisis in the peace process is not defused. The poll shows that 59% percent of people questioned believe there is a "strong possibility of conflict" between Israel and the Arabs; and that faith in the peace process is on the wane in Israel, following violent Palestinian protests against the construction of the Har Homa neighborhood.
The Arab/Moslem reaction is far out of proportion to the scope of the project. It has become another symbol The Inevitable Conflict
Israel is always the one being severely criticized by the media and by world leaders for exacerbating the situation in the Middle East and jeopardizing the "Peace Process"-never the Palestinians who are attacking or their leaders who are inciting. Now, Israel is being accused of bringing the world to the brink of war over Har Homa by insisting on Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem. However, the crux of the conflict is the fact that a sovereign Jewish state in the middle of the Islamic world is seen as an affront by Islam. The Islamic world can never reconcile itself to Israel and sooner or later it will come to a head.

Aaron Lerner, 20 October 1996
IMRA interviewed Adnan Al Husseini, the Executive Director of the Waqf, in English, on October 20, 1996.
IMRA: How do you see Jewish activity at the Western Wall when an agreement is finally reached about Jerusalem?
Husseini: We do not want to talk of details but there is something very important: we have to insist that East Jerusalem is part of the Palestinian state. If you want real peace you need a strong Palestinian state beside Israel.
IMRA: Do you think that the Jews will be permitted to disturb the Al Aksa services by blowing shofars at the Western Wall like they do today during certain holidays?
Husseini: I do not think so. I think that the governments will have to take care of the extreme people.
The Jews should understand that the Moslems are there at Al Aksa due to God's decision and this is written in the holy book and it is very important to understand the famous visit of Mohammed there. Since then it is God's decision and after that the Prophet. This is from God from the holy book.
Islam respects all the religions and took care of all the holy books and safeguarded the lives of all non-Moslems. We have to respect the factor of time and the new understanding which took place and not look backwards two thousand years. Otherwise there will be no peace forever. The Moslems are there and it is a mosque and they must understand it.

May 5, 2000: the ancient Mayan calendar came to an abrupt halt. May 5, 2000: the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn were in a rare "Menorah" alignment that occurs once every 1000 or 2000 years. May 5, 2000: New Age gurus proclaim the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius. May 5, 2000: The barley planted by Levites in Israel on the Mount of Olives was aviv. May 5, 2000: At sundown in Jerusalem, the first sliver of the new moon appears. The evidence of May 5, 2000 beginning the month of the Aviv of the year 6001 and the dawn of the Day of the LORD was mounting. But the adventure had just begun.
If the 7th millennium began on April 6th 2000 when the first sliver of the new moon was sighted, then the big war will begin September 29, 2000. If May 5th began the 7th millennium, the invasion will be one month later, at sundown on October 28th 2000. Either way, there will be millions of dead bodies to clean up before Passover 6002 (2001). With a seven-month cleanup just ahead of us, another Adar Bet is due this next spring to allow for the cleansing of the land. If this is the year 6001, the confirmations will come in God's timing. We will be sure soon, but we may not be sure of the date until the actual invasion takes place. The best plan is to be ready for the end of September. I plan to keep on the road through October. We make our plans. God directs our steps.
Ezekial 39:11-15
11 "It will come to pass in that day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea; and it will obstruct travelers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog.
12 "For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.
13 "Indeed all the people of the land will be burying them, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified," says the Lord GOD.
14 "They will set apart men regularly employed, with the help of a search party, to pass through the land and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search.
15 "The search party will pass through the land; and whenever anyone sees a man's bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. (NKJ)
Relate this to the passage in Ezekial reported on 2 July
Ezekial 7:3:
3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
6 An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
7 The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. (KJV)
This seems to describe the total destruction of Israel.
Matthew 24:15-31
15 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),
16 "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 "Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.
18 "And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
19 "But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
20 "And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
21 "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 "And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.
23 "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it.
24 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 "See, I have told you beforehand.
26 "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it.
27 "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
28 "For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (NKJ)
As I was completing this I read an email which gave the web address of a site with a number of photographs of the Pope sitting on a throne on the mount in Israel where the "Sermon on the Mount" was preached. The throne had a large inverted cross on the back. What the exact significance of this may be is unclear although there are widespread teachings that the inverted cross is an anti-christ symbol!
Each of us must correctly discern the times and I pray that this assists you.
