2001.03.1.02 The Spirit of Messiah is Moving on The Earth Part 1 -- Evidence of The Anointing of Yahshua Created by James3 on 7/5/2019 9:03:11 AM The Spirit of Messiah is Moving on The Earth Part 1 -- Evidence of The Anointing of Yahshua
In seeking understanding of what is prophesied for this age it has become increasingly apparent that there are things happening in the Spirit realm which do not necessarily correspond to the conventional interpretations of scripture.
In particular, there is considerable evidence of a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit which is taking place. A few quick pointers:
SRevivals have swept at least five cities in the world with the entire city coming to Salvation - refer the video ATransformations@.
SA prophet in Lagos Nigeria is moving powerfully in the Spirit and hundreds are being healed daily. We have several videos and eye witness accounts of this move.
SThere are rumours of at least three other men around the world moving powerfully in the Spirit at a level comparable to that in Nigeria.
SThere are major crusades taking place in Africa with reports of several million Adecisions for Christ@ in Nigeria in a crusade of one week=s duration.
SNumerous other less visible and less dramatic but no less significant Amoves of the Spirit@ are being reported.
SAnd yet many people are looking for something else - most have been looking for @The Rapture@ associated with the Lord Jesus Christ [Yahshua Messiah] returning on the clouds and the church being caught into the sky with Him. However, most of the dates projected for this event have passed without any evidence of any spiritual event BUT is this so?
Was the interpretation of the dates approximately correct but were we looking for the wrong event? Consider Revelation 12:10 AThen I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down@. (NKJ)
In the appendix to this document is a fairly detailed analysis of some words and scriptures which seem to suggest another interpretation.
I will summarize the interpretation and then leave it to the reader to read the appendix which is deliberately not well structured since it follows the flow that I followed to reach the conclusion. However, since the conclusion is of such great importance, I feel that at this time I should not seek to present it persuasively but rather to offer it up for comment.
The thought process is as follows:
1. There are many scriptures which refer to AChrist@ [Messiah] without AJesus@ [Yahshua].
2. The word translated AChrist@ is derived from the Greek AChristos@ which it seems is translated from the Hebrew mashiach which in turn is translated AMessiah@ in English in the AOld Testament@.
3. This word relates to Aanoint@ or Aanointing@. In other words, the correct English translation of christos and mashiach appears to be Aanointed@ or Aanointed one@ or Aanointing@.
Thus, where we read of AJesus Christ@ we can more correctly insert AYahshua Messiah@ or even more correctly AYahshua the Anointed@.
Where we read of AChrist@ it seems that we could replace this with Aanointing@.
4. If we take this further, we find in Luke 4:16‑21, reporting about Yahshua (Jesus):
16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
21 And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." (NKJ)
So Yahshua proclaimed that the Spirit of the Lord [Yahweh] was upon Him, BECAUSE HE [YAHWEH] HAD ANOINTED HIM - thus Jesus Christ is the man Yahshua (Jesus) with the Spirit of Yahweh upon Him because Yahweh had anointed Yahshua.
In Matthew 3:13‑17 we read:
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?"
15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (NKJ)
Here we see Yahshua (Jesus) being anointed by the Spirit of Yahweh.
Matthew 4:1 AThen Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.@ (NKJ)
Here we see Yahshua immediately LED by the Spirit.
Mark 1:12 AAnd immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.@ (NKJ)
Mark is more imperative and says that the Spirit DROVE Yahshua into the wilderness.
Luke 4:1 AThen Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,@ (NKJ)
Luke says that Yahshua was filled with Athe Holy Spirit@, therefore, we must conclude that the Spirit of Yahweh (God) and the Holy Spirit are one and the same!
Therefore, Yahshua (Jesus) was Anointed with the Holy Spirit.
We also see that there is a clear distinction between Yahshua (Jesus) the man and the anointing with the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Yahweh) which led or DROVE Yahshua the man into the wilderness and in terms of which Yahshua subsequently proclaimed Athe Spirit of Yahweh is upon me@.
It is therefore apparent that the anointing of the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Yahweh) on the man Yahshua is QUITE DISTINCT from the man Yahshua! The Spirit was upon Yahshua to Apreach the gospel to the poor; heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.@
John 1:32‑34 makes this very clear:
32 And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.
33 "I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
34 "And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God." (NKJ)
5. We MUST THEREFORE CONCLUDE that the word translated AChrist@ refers to Aanointed with the Holy Spirit@ or Aanointing of the Holy Spirit@ NOT to the man Yahshua (Jesus). In fact, it seems that we could take this a step further and say that AChrist@ could be translated AHoly Spirit@ or AHoly Spirit upon man@.
6. If we apply this to Revelation 12:10-12 we could read:
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ [Holy Spirit] have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
12 "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." (NKJ)
IF THIS IS CORRECT, THEN REVELATION 12:10 IS NOT SPEAKING OF THE RETURN OF THE MAN YAHSHUA MESSIAH, IT IS SPEAKING OF THE FULL POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT COMING UPON MEN!! In which case, the return of Yahshua on the clouds of Glory must be a SEPARATE event.
In other words, it is speaking of an age when MANY MEN are walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit!
That seems to me to suggest that MANY will be walking in the anointing that the man Yahshua (Jesus) walked in. Many will be healing the sick, opening blind eyes, raising the dead, etc AND will be doing GREATER works than Yahshua did John 14:12 states "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (NKJ)
7. It seems to me that Revelation 12:10 is speaking of MILLIONS walking in the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT at the end of the Age doing the same works that Yahshua did and GREATER works than He did AND THEN RULING AND REIGNING FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!
8. IF this INDEED THE CASE, then it is quite possible that the dates that were projected between 1996 and 2001 for a major spiritual event WERE MORE OR LESS CORRECT but that THE EVENT was the beginning of a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit unprecedented in the history of the earth culminating in Satan being cast into the bottomless Pit for a thousand years round about 2004 and these anointed men ruling for a thousand years in the Seventh Millennium (the seventh day - for a day is as a thousand years with God) while the Father RESTS! BEFORE Yahshua returns physically!
9. IF this is INDEED the case, then we would all be well advised to urgently seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit without measure that we may also do the works that Yahshua did AND greater works!
Overall, in the appendix, we see that most verses referring to AChrist@ could realistically be translated to refer to the AAnointing of or with the Holy Spirit@ although there are some passages where it appears that AChrist@ is used as an alternative name for Yahshua Messiah Himself.
The question to which I currently do NOT have an answer, is whether it IS legitimate to apply the interpretation Aanointing with the Holy Spirit@ to some or many of these verses and therefore to conclude that we should be looking for a massive outpouring on men at this time RATHER than a physical return of Yahshua the man and that His physical return is, in fact, appointed for a later date.
Comment on this interpretation would be most welcome. In subsequent mails we hope to supply more information regarding major moves of the Holy Spirit currently taking place in the Earth. If any reader has such information we would welcome it.
The phrase in Revelation 12:10 "the power of His Christ" contains the word "Christ" WITHOUT the name of "Jesus" being DIRECTLY associated with it.
This word translated "Christ" is the Greek Christos
Strong defines 5547 Christos (khris-tos');
from 5548; anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus:
KJV-- Christ.
Following on from this, Strong defines 5548 chrio (khree'-o);
probably akin to 5530 through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, i.e. (by implication) to consecrate to an office or religious service:
KJV-- anoint.
Following on from this, Strong defines 5530 chraomai (khrah'-om-ahee);
middle voice of a primary verb (perhaps rather from 5495, to handle); to furnish what is needed; (give an oracle, "graze" [touch slightly], light upon, etc.), i.e. (by implication) to employ or (by extension) to act towards one in a given manner:
KJV-- entreat, use. Compare 5531; 5534.
Vine's defines CHRIST
christos ^5547^, "anointed," translates, in the Sept., the word "Messiah," a term applied to the priests who were anointed with the holy oil, particularly the high priest, e. g., <Lev. 4:3,5, 16>. The prophets are called hoi christoi Theou, "the anointed of God," <Ps. 105:15>. A king of Israel was described upon occasion as christos tou Kuriou, "the anointed of the Lord," <1 Sam. 2:10,35; 2 Sam. 1:14; Ps. 2:2; 18:50; Hab. 3:13>; the term is used even of Cyrus, <Isa. 45:1>......

Vine's defines MESSIAH
A. Nouns.
mashiach ^4899^, "anointed one; Messiah." Of the 39 occurrences of mashiach, none occurs in the wisdom literature. They are scattered throughout the rest of biblical literary types and periods.
First, mashiach refers to one who is anointed with oil, symbolizing the reception of the Holy Spirit, enabling him to do an assigned task. Kings <1 Sam. 24:6>, high priests, and some prophets <1 Kings 19:16> were so anointed: "If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people..." <Lev. 4:3>-- the first biblical appearance. In the case of Cyrus, he was anointed with God's Spirit only and commissioned an "anointed deliverer" of Israel <Isa. 45:1>. The patriarchs, too, are called "anointed ones": "Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm" <Ps. 105:15>.
Second, the word is sometimes transliterated "Messiah." After the promise to David <2 Sam. 7:13> mashiach refers immediately to the Davidic dynasty, but ultimately it points to the "Messiah," Jesus the Christ: "The kings of the earth [take their stand], and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his Anointed..." <Ps. 2:2>. In <Dan. 9:25> the word is transliterated: "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince...." The New Testament also attests the word in this latter meaning <John 1:41>. Most frequently in the New Testament the word is translated ("Christ") rather than transliterated ("Messiah"). See also ANOINT.
mishchah ^4888^, "anointment." This noun occurs 21 times and only in Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers. It always follows the Hebrew word for oil. The first occurrence is <Exod. 25:6>: "Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense."
B. Verb.
mashach ^4886^, "to smear with oil or paint, anoint." This verb, which appears 69 times in biblical Hebrew, has cognates in Ugaritic, Akkadian, Aramaic, and Arabic. The objects of this verb are people, sacrificial victims, and objects of worship. Aaron and his sons are the objects of this verb in <Exod. 30:30>: "And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office."

Dan 9:24-27
24 "Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.
25 "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
26 "And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate." (NKJ)
Messiah the Prince
Messiah as defined above
the Prince
Strong 5057 nagiyd (naw-gheed');
or nagid (naw-gheed'); from 5046; a commander (as occupying the front), civil, military or religious; generally (abstractly, plural), honorable themes:
KJV-- captain, chief, excellent thing, (chief) governor, leader, noble, prince, (chief) ruler.
i.e. Prince can also be translated excellent thing
Strong
5046 nagad (naw-gad');
a primitive root; properly, to front, i.e. stand boldly out opposite; by implication (causatively), to manifest; figuratively, to announce (always by word of mouth to one present); specifically, to expose, predict, explain, praise:
KJV-- bewray, X certainly, certify, declare (-ing), denounce, expound, X fully, messenger, plainly, profess, rehearse, report, shew (forth), speak, X surely, tell, utter.
Proverbs 8:1-36
1 Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding lift up her voice?
2 She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, where the paths meet.
3 She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors:
4 "To you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of men.
5 O you simple ones, understand prudence, and you fools, be of an understanding heart.
6 Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things;
7 For my mouth will speak truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; nothing crooked or perverse is in them.
9 They are all plain to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold;
11 For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.
12 "I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion.
13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.
15 By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.
16 By me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth.
17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me.
18 Riches and honor are with me, enduring riches and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, and my revenue than choice silver.
20 I traverse the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice,
21 That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.
22 "The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.
23 I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth.
24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth;
26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, or the primeval dust of the world.
27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
28 When He established the clouds above, when He strengthened the fountains of the deep,
29 When He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth,
30 Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him,
31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, and my delight was with the sons of men.
32 "Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it.
34 Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the LORD;
36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death." (NKJ)
Prince in Daniel 9:25 could be translated AExcellent thing/s@
Proverbs 8:6
6 Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things; (NKJ)
Wisdom - Strong 2451 chokmah (khok-maw');
from 2449; wisdom (in a good sense):
KJV-- skilful, wisdom, wisely, wit.
Brown Driver Brigg's
2451 chokmah-
wisdom
a) skill (in war)
b) wisdom (in administration)
c) shrewdness, wisdom
d) wisdom, prudence (in religious affairs)
e) wisdom (ethical and religious)
the words Aher@ and Ashe@ in Proverb 8 appear to be all added by the translators. There is no gender given to wisdom explicitly in the Hebrew.
Joyner, in the visions of the second and third heaven reported in "The Final Quest" and "The Call" reports that Yahshua repeatedly appears to him as "Wisdom"
We see here that it is possible that Proverbs 8:6 could read "Listen, for I will speak of the Prince excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things; (NKJ)
Alternatively, Daniel 9:25 could read ""Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah [The Holy Spirit] the excellent thing Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times." (NKJ)
Spirit of wisdom
Ephesians 1:15-23
15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
20 which He worked in Christ [Anointing of the Holy Spirit] when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (NKJ)
We see that there IS a spirit of wisdom.
Philipians 1:19
19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, (NKJ)
We see that there is a Spirit of Jesus Christ
Philipians 1:1-30
1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ [Messiah / The Holy Spirit], To all the saints in Christ [Messiah / The Holy Spirit] Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ [Messiah / Anointed with The Holy Spirit].
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,
5 for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now,
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ Christ [Messiah / The Anointing with the Holy Spirit of] Jesus;
7 just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.
8 For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ [Messiah].
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,
10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ [Messiah / The Anointing with the Holy Spirit],
11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ [Messiah], to the glory and praise of God.
12 But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel,
13 so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ [Messiah / The Anointing of the Holy Spirit];
14 and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15 Some indeed preach Christ [Messiah / The Anointing of the Holy Spirit] even from envy and strife, and some also from good will:
16 The former preach Christ [The Anointing of the Holy Spirit] from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains;
Phillipians 1:16
16 The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel;
(RSV)
17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.
18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ [Messiah] is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ [Messiah],
20 according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.
21 For to me, to live is Christ [Messiah/ The Anointing of the Holy Spirit], and to die is gain.
22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell.
23 For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ [Messiah], which is far better.
24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
25 And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,
26 that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ [Messiah] by my coming to you again.
27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ [Messiah / The Anointing of the Holy Spirit], so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,
28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ [Messiah], not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me. (NKJ)
2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 states:
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [Messiah] and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ [Messiah / The Anointing with The Holy Spirit] had come. (NKJ)
