SUMMARY
Based on further reading of "The Final Quest" further critical principles for serving Yahweh faithfully and overcoming to the end are summarized for those who desire to store up treasure in heaven and choose to seek an imperishable crown at the end of their lives. The headlines of this summary follow.
It is Yashua's2 nature to be true.
Words have power.
A single word from God is of more value than all the treasures on earth.
There is great danger in walking in great power -- learn to glory more in your weaknesses than in your strengths.
True faith is true recognition of who Yashua is.
It is good to lose confidence in oneself.
All failures in the walk of the believer result from self-centredness. The ONLY way to be delivered from this is to walk in love.
Overcome the world with Yashua's love.
A great overcomer in heaven overcame because he only did enough for himself each day to stay alive and gladly sacrificed his life to save a needy friend.
When you give yourself with love it counts for much.
Compassion will remove the veils from your soul faster than anything else.
Human compassion is just as contrary to Yashua as human oppression!
Whatever is done in guilt is not done for Yashua.
Human compassion will not lead people to the cross which alone can relieve their suffering.
LOVE is the banner over Yashua's army. We must now fight under this banner.
Taking account of this we must remember scriptures like "it is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Yahweh1 of hosts." (Zechariah 4:6b); "lean not to your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5); "I have been crucified with Christ [Messiah]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ [Messiah] who lives in me" (Galatians 2:20) and "we have the mind of Christ [Messiah]" (1 Corinthians 2:16). It is important to pray for these scriptures to take effect in our lives and to expect by faith to do all that is required to resist working against these scriptures in our lives.
OVERCOMING TO THE END
Further to the message "Love Like Yashua2 (Jesus) Loves" [#2001.03.04 of 10 March 2001] I have read further from "The Final Quest" by Rick Joyner.
Following are some key points which seem absolutely critical for those who would overcome to the end and seek to please the Saviour at all costs that they may sit with Him on a high throne for eternity.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
20 "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (NKJ)
It is possible to store up treasure in heaven BUT it is apparent that this is an active decision, not something that happens passively or by accident.
James 1:12
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (NKJ)
One of the treasures is a "crown" for those who ENDURE temptation and are APPROVED because they have LOVED Yashua2!
1 Corinthians 9:25
25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. (NKJ)
There IS A PRIZE which is an IMPERISHABLE CROWN AND we COMPETE for such crowns! This is in the sense of running the race and OVERCOMING TO THE END.
Revelation 20:4a (speaking of those who overcome to the end)
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. (NKJ)
For those who truly ENDURE AND OVERCOME AND FINISH THE RACE, there are thrones reserved in heaven where the overcomers will rule and reign WITH Yashua Messiah FOR ETERNITY!
The visions in "The Final Quest" give a VERY clear picture of this and give VERY IMPORTANT GUIDANCE on what the criteria are that are applied by Yahweh1 (The Lord) in judging those who are found to have overcome to the end.
Following are the points which seemed particularly important in this most recent reading, emphasis added as it seemed appropriate. Again, these are interspersed with own notes and, in some cases prayers, resulting from this reading which it is hoped will be helpful. Text in italics is quoted from "The Final Quest". Where Yashua is quoted speaking in the first person, which occurs in most of the quotes, His name [Yashua] is added in square brackets for the sake of clarification.
Pg 143 "It is My [Yashua's] nature to be true." .... "Those who really believe that My words are true, will also be true to their own words."
FATHER, TEACH ME YOUR LOVE AND ANOINT ME TO LOVE AS YOU LOVE AND WITH YOUR LOVE.
TEACH ME TO BE FAITHFUL AS YOU ARE FAITHFUL.
Pg 143 "Words have power, and those careless with words cannot be trusted with the power of My [Yashua's] word. It is wisdom to be careful with your words, and to keep them as I [Yashua] do Mine"! ...
Pg 144 "... remember that the importance of a SINGLE Word from God to men is of more value than all the treasures on earth. You must understand and teach the value of My [Yashua's] word. As those who are called to carry My words, you must also respect the VALUE OF YOUR OWN WORDS. Those who will carry the truth MUST BE TRUE"!
FATHER, TEACH ME TO BE TRUE AS YOU ARE TRUE!
TEACH ME TO RESPECT THE VALUE OF MY OWN WORDS!
Pg 145 Speaking of those who have fallen after walking in great power "There is GREAT DANGER in walking in great power" ... "It has happened to many of My [Yashua's] messengers, and that is part of the message that they are to give My [Yashua's] last day church. You must walk in My [Yashua's] power, and EVEN MUCH GREATER POWER than these [those who experienced Yashua's power during their lives and are now in Heaven] experienced, BUT if you ever start to think that the power is My [Yashua] endorsing you, or even your message, you will open the door to the same delusion. The Holy Spirit is given to testify ONLY OF ME [Yashua]. If you are wise, like Paul you will LEARN TO GLORY MORE IN YOUR WEAKNESSES THAN IN YOUR STRENGTHS."!
Pg 146 "True faith is the true recognition of who I [Yashua] am. It is nothing more and nothing less. BUT you must ALWAYS REMEMBER, even if you abide in My [Yashua's] presence, even if you see Me [Yashua] as I am, you can STILL FALL IF YOU TURN FROM ME TO LOOK BACK AT YOURSELF. THAT IS HOW LUCIFER FELL. He dwelt in this room. He beheld My [Yashua's] glory and the glory of My Father. HOWEVER, HE BEGAN TO LOOK AT HIMSELF MORE THAN HE LOOKED TO US. He then began to take pride in his position and power. This has also happened to MANY of My [Yashua's] servants who were allowed to see My glory, and who were trusted with power. IF you BEGIN TO THINK THAT IT BECAUSE OF YOUR WISDOM , YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, OR EVEN YOUR DEVOTION TO PURE DOCTRINE, YOU WILL STUMBLE"!
Pg 146 "It is good for you to lose confidence in yourself. I [Yashua] cannot trust you with the powers of the age to come until you do. The more confidence you lose in yourself, the MORE POWER I will be able to trust you with, IF you put YOUR CONFIDENCE IN ME [Yashua]."
FATHER, LET ME LOSE ALL CONFIDENCE IN MYSELF!
LET MY CONFIDENCE BE IN YOU ALONE!
LET ME HAVE FAITH IN YOU ONLY!
Pg 147 "ALL OF YOUR FAILURES will be the result of this one thing - SELF-CENTREDNESS. The ONLY way to be delivered from this is to walk in LOVE."!
"LOVE DOES NOT SEEK IT'S OWN"!
FATHER, LET MY DEVOTION BE TO Yashua AND NOT TO ANY MAN!
FATHER, LET MY DESIRE BE FOR YOUR LOVE IN ME!
FATHER, GRANT THAT YOUR LOVE IS SHED ABROAD IN MY HEART IN FULL MEASURE!
Pg 152 "OVERCOME THE WORLD WITH Yashua's LOVE"
Pg 153 REJOICE IN ALL that happens, no matter whether great lack or great abundance.
Pg 155 Regarding a man named Angelo who today sits on a High Throne in heaven, This man was deaf, dumb, destitute and homeless. Yet Angelo loved the Saviour with immense love and loved others more than himself. His love was so great that he gave his life by freezing to death to save the life of a destitute wino in the middle of winter: "Angelo was a martyr everyday that he lived. He would only DO ENOUGH FOR HIMSELF TO STAY ALIVE, and he gladly sacrificed his life to save a needy friend.
"When you give yourself with love it counts for MUCH. Angelo died EVERY DAY because he did not love for himself, but FOR OTHERS. While on earth he always considered himself the least of the saints, BUT HE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST."

LOOK ONLY FOR Yashua IN THE PEOPLE ONE MEETS!
There will ALWAYS be error, wrong and evil in EVERY PERSON THAT WE MEET (refer message on "Seek Truth Not Error" dd 24 February 2001) WE MUST look only to that which is good UNLESS we are called and equipped to deliver them from that which is evil. WE MUST NOT REJECT THEM because we see evil in them. We may only separate from them if Yashua leads us to.
Pg 156 "Compassion will remove the veils from your soul faster than anything else."
Pg 156 "You have asked many times for more of My [Yashua's] anointing; that is how you will receive it. LOVE THOSE WHO I [Yashua] LOVE. As you love them you LOVE ME [Yashua]. As you give to them, you have given to Me [Yashua], and I will give more to you in return."
LORD, HELP ME TO LOVE THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE, THE WAY YOU LOVE THEM!
Pg 157 Regarding the good gifts that we receive from Yahweh "you must FREELY SHARE them when I [Yashua] call you to".
Pg 157 "Human compassion is just as contrary to Me as human oppression. Human compassion is used as a substitute for the power of My [Yashua's] cross. I have not called you to sacrifice BUT TO OBEY. Sometimes you WILL have to sacrifice to obey Me [Yashua], but if your sacrifice is not done in obedience, IT WILL SEPARATE US"!
LORD, TEACH ME TO BE OBEDIENT NO MATTER WHAT THE COST!!
Pg 157 "Do not judge anyone without enquiring of Me [Yashua]"
Pg 157 "If you just react in guilt you will begin to do things to compensate for your guilt, and because I [Yashua] went to the cross to remove your guilt, whatever is done in guilt is NOT DONE FOR ME [Yashua]"!
LORD, TEACH ME TO REPENT INSTANTLY AND FULLY AND TO TURN AROUND TOTALLY!
Pg 158 "I [Yashua] do not enjoy seeing men suffer ..... but human compassion will not lead them to the cross which ALONE can relieve their suffering."
"You must NOT just do things out of compassion, but in obedience to My [Yashua's] Spirit. Only then will your compassion have the power of redemption."!
"Without Me [Yashua] you can do NOTHING that will benefit My [Yashua's] Kingdom or promote My [Yashua's] Gospel."
"Love is MY [Yashua's] GREATEST WEAPON. Love will NEVER FAIL. Love will be the power that destroys the works of the devil. And LOVE will be what brings My [Yashua's] Kingdom. LOVE is the banner over My [Yashua's] army. UNDER THIS BANNER YOU MUST NOW FIGHT."!!!
There are some vital messages in these extracts. Messages which hit like hammer blows every time I read this book.
These messages seem to me to be amongst the most important messages available to each believer in this age. If we will regularly pray appropriate prayers to ask The Holy Spirit, the Father and the Son to guide us, to change us, to break us, to bend us, to deliver us, TO MAKE us into the servants that HE WANTS us to be, THEN there is hope of overcoming to the end.
REMEMBER -- WE CAN DO NOTHING IN OUR OWN STRENGTH! : Zechariah 4:6b "'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts." (NKJ)
WE MUST NOT LEAN TO OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING : Proverbs 3:5-7 "5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil." (NKJ)
WE MUST BE CRUCIFIED WITH Messiah IN ORDER THAT Messiah MAY LIVE THROUGH US : Galatians 2:20 ""I have been crucified with Christ [Messiah]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ [Messiah] lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (NKJ)
THAT WE MAY HAVE THE MIND OF Messiah : 1 Corinthians 2:16 "For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ [Messiah]."" (NKJ)
