Following on from the Article “2023.02.01 Help me to be increasingly aware of YOUR presence and power” at https://www.eti-ministries.org/help-me-to-be-increasingly-aware-of-your-presence-and-power Doug Ferguson shared with me the item shared below. This may be the most important message I have ever shared – I encourage you to take it on-board.
Preface
This preface seeks to provide some context and some understanding in the hope that you will be encouraged to seek such a relationship with the Almighty Creator.
A few comments re word substitutions
God = The Almighty and Mighty One
As published repeatedly my understanding is that the correct English translation of the word typically translated God in the Bible is “The Almighty” or “Mighty One” depending on context, in this case I have used “Mighty One”.
Love = Covenant Love = Chesed
The word translated as “Love” is the Hebrew word “Chesed” and the Greek word “Agape” which is far richer than “Love”. The website “Christianity.com” reports in an article titled “What Is the True Meaning and Power of the Hebrew Word 'Chesed'?” at https://www.christianity.com/wiki/bible/what-is-the-true-meaning-and-power-of-the-hebrew-word-chesed.html:
“The Hebrew word chesed (also spelled hesed) is so packed with meaning that no single word in the English language comes close to defining it. Used 248 times in scripture, this little-known descriptor carries volumes of information about the Almighty’s character while providing a glimpse of His redemptive plan through His very nature.”
The full article is contained in the Appendix.
Chesed also relates to “Covenant Love”, Love associated with a life time commitment to the other party and willingness to die for them as presented in the Appendix.
Chesed (Hebrew) / Agape (Greek) is defined in detail in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13:
“1If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not [a]Chesed [for others growing out of The Almighty’s Chesed for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. 2And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from The Almighty to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have Chesed [reaching out to others], I am nothing. 3If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body [b]to be burned, but do not have Chesed, it does me no good at all.
“4Chesed endures with patience and serenity, Chesed is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; Chesed does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. 5It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. 6It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. 7Chesed bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].
“8Chesed never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]. 10But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by The Almighty]. 13And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in The Almighty and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], Chesed [unselfish Chesed for others growing out of The Almighty’s Chesed for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is Chesed..
“[a] 1 I.e. a profound thoughtfulness and unselfish concern for other believers regardless of their circumstances or station in life.
“[b] 3 Early mss read so that I may boast, i.e. as a martyr.” – Amplified Bible names adjusted
https://biblehub.com/amp/1_corinthians/13.htm
Chesed will offer one’s life on behalf of the object of Chesed as Yahooshua did when he died.
Law = Torah
Torah as an alternative translation to Law is, as with Chesed, a Hebrew word with a much richer meaning than “Law”. In fact the English word “Law” is used for several different Hebrew words and concepts with distinct meanings and this gives rise to confusion regarding Bible passages that use the word Law in the English.
While “Torah” today is generally used to represent the five so-called “Books of Moses” in its finer definition it relates to the fundamental Commandments of the Almighty and so in my rendering of what follows I have chosen to use “Torah” to replace “Law” in the original document.
The British Library states “Torah (תורה) in Hebrew can mean teaching, direction, guidance and law.”
See https://www.bl.uk/sacred-texts/articles/the-torah#:~:text=Torah%20(%D7%AA%D7%95%D7%A8%D7%94)%20in%20Hebrew%20can,have%20been%20composed%20by%20Moses
One Law – the Law of Covenant Love = the Torah of Chesed
My rendering of the statement below from Doug is as follows:
“Therefore, there is only one Torah for you to follow and, if you do follow it, nothing shall be impossible for you. All shadows of impossibility will cease to exist.
“repeat after me, today, right now, i begin living life by this one Torah; i know that I AM that I AM is my Mighty One, and that i am Chesed. All i have to do is receive this absolute and total Chesed for me and allow this Chesed to flow through me to each and everyone else i encounter.” I AM that I AM.
This is a PROFOUND statement of the fundamental principle of serving Yah and living life in the way that He intended it. This epitomizes the message of Yahooshua {Jesus} and resolves and nullifies all the writings about a “vengeful” and “wrathful” God.
Yah IS Chesed, mercy, grace, loving kindness, love, etcetera. He desires to be in relationship with YOU and me, He desires to be YOUR FRIEND! And for YOU TO BE HIS FRIEND! And therefore evidence Chesed toward Him as He does toward you. All the rest is incidental, we are engaged in a war and people and beings get hurt because of the evil that flows from the Satanic and Demonic realm. This is NOT how Yah intended things to be and NOT the way He fundamentally is.
I encourage you today to take this message on board, recite this declaration regularly and make it your own.
ONE LAW …NOTHING ELSE MATTERS from Doug Ferguson
This “came” to me in what can only be described as “an intimate conversation” with whom I refer to as our SPIRIT PARENT). – Doug Ferguson
“THEREFORE, THERE IS ONLY ONE LAW FOR YOU TO FOLLOW AND, IF YOU DO FOLLOW IT, NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU. ALL SHADOWS OF IMPOSSIBILITY WILL CEASE TO EXIST.
“REPEAT AFTER ME, TODAY, RIGHT NOW, I BEGIN LIVING LIFE BY THIS ONE LAW; I KNOW THAT I AM that, I AM IS MY GOD, AND THAT I AM LOVED. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS RECEIVE THIS ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL LOVE FOR ME AND ALLOW THIS LOVE TO FLOW THROUGH ME TO EACH AND EVERYONE ELSE I ENCOUNTER. I AM THAT, I AM.”
Is this something to be written?
“YES, BUT DO NOT COMPLICATE IT WITH MANY WORDS; DON’T TRY TO CONVINCE ANYONE, JUST BE IN AND OF THIS ONE THING.”
All sorts of questions are coming to me, what now?
“ONCE AGAIN, REPEAT AFTER ME, ‘TODAY, RIGHT NOW, I BEGIN LIVING LIFE BY THIS ONE LAW; I KNOW THAT I AM that, I AM IS MY GOD, AND THAT I AM LOVED. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS RECEIVE THIS ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL LOVE FOR ME AND ALLOW THIS LOVE TO FLOW THROUGH ME TO EACH AND EVERYONE ELSE I ENCOUNTER. I AM THAT, I AM.’ ”
That’s it?
“ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ARE SWALLOWED UP IN THIS ONE LAW. LIVE BY IT AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS. I AM THAT, I AM.”
Okay, what now?
…But what if . . . ?
Okay, I get this; now, what shall I say to anyone else about anything?
“WHAT YOU SAY IS UNIMPORTANT.
What changes do I make in my life, what am I to do differently?
Appendix – the Hebrew word “Chesed” the true meaning of “Love” in the Bible
What Is the True Meaning and Power of the Hebrew Word 'Chesed'?
The Hebrew word chesed (also spelled hesed) is so packed with meaning that no single word in the English language comes close to defining it. Used 248 times in scripture, this little-known descriptor carries volumes of information about God’s character while providing a glimpse of His redemptive plan through His very nature.
The Hebrew word chesed (also spelled hesed) is so packed with meaning that no single word in the English language comes close to defining it. Used 248 times in scripture, this little-known descriptor carries volumes of information about God’s character while providing a glimpse of His redemptive plan through His very nature.
What Does the Word ‘Chesed’ Describe?
In the Old Testament, the word chesed describes the enduring, active love between God and His chosen people, Israel. Because of His chesed, God promised Israel that He would never leave nor forsake them. God kept His covenant with Israel, but not because they possessed any inherent righteousness. Nor did God hold firm to His promise because Israel consistently kept the law’s commands. The promise’s holding power was based on one thing: who God is.
“They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love [chesed]. Therefore, you did not desert them,” (Nehemiah 9:17)
“Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love [chesed] for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)
“I will declare that your love [chesed] stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself. You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant, I will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations.’” (Psalm 89:4)
Biblical translators and scholars throughout the ages have attempted to confine the term chesed to the realm of human understanding through words like lovingkindness, devotion, mercy, strength, grace, purity, loyalty, tenderness, and steadfastness. But each of these descriptors falls short on its own.
It’s impossible to define chesed apart from the fullness of God’s character. Chesed’s particular brand of love is supernatural, multifaceted love that can only be realized, practiced, and experienced through God.
Examples of God’s People Living out Chesed in the Old Testament
Because God first loved Israel with an infinite chesed, His children were required to model that chesed in their relationships with one another.
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy [chesed] and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)
The story of Ruth and Boaz is a beautiful example of chesed. Ruth displayed sacrificial love when she forfeited her home and life to care for her mother-in-law, Naomi. When Boaz becomes the kinsman-redeemer of Naomi’s family through selfless Ruth, we see chesed at work again, in a remarkable way that will eventually lead to the birth of the Messiah (Ruth 1:16).
Jonathan and David entered into a close personal friendship founded on chesed (1 Samuel 18:3). And even after Jonathan’s death, David sought to remain true to that chesed by seeking out and honoring Jonathan’s heir—Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9:7).
When Joshua sent spies into Jericho in preparation for the God-ordained massacre of that city, a woman by the name of Rahab entered into a chesed agreement with the Jewish people to spare her life and her family’s life. “Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness [chesed] to my family, because I have shown kindness [chesed] to you. Give me a sure sign that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them—and that you will save us from death.” (Joshua 2:12-13)
Queen Esther’s story provides another example of chesed. When presented before King Xerxes as a potential wife, Esther “pleased him and won his favor [chesed].” (Esther 2:9) The king’s love for Esther was not a human-inspired, temporal love. Chesed was planted by God within the king to reveal God’s chesed for Esther and His people—and to fulfill God’s divine plan to save the whole Jewish race.
These examples and the many other examples of chesed shown in the Old Testament were lived out by God’s grace and through His providence. Each story teaches us something about God’s love and foreshadows the New Testament embodiment of that love—Jesus Christ.
Can Chesed be Found in the New Testament?
As Old Testament scriptures unfold the mystery of God’s chesed for Israel, they simultaneously reveal the future fulfillment of His chesed through the Messiah. In the New Testament, Jesus becomes the embodiment of the chesed described in the Old Testament—just as He becomes the fulfillment of the Old Covenant.
One of the reasons God chose to dwell with man incarnate through Jesus was to reveal the fullness of His love for the world. His chesed for Israel was a foretaste of love so wide, long, high, and deep that it surpasses all human understanding (Ephesians 3:18-21).
That agape love was unveiled through Christ Jesus—the new covenant mediator (Hebrews 9:15). In Christ, Believers are forgiven and set free from the sin that has estranged us from our Father in Heaven. And through Christ’s atoning blood, we’re guaranteed that God will never leave nor forsake us (Romans 8:38-39).
God didn’t send Jesus to die for us because we possess any inherent righteousness, nor does He offer His promise of salvation through Christ based on our ability to keep His commands. One thing alone compelled God to sacrifice Jesus for our ransom—God is love.
“God is love [agape]. Whoever lives in love [agape] lives in God, and God in them. This is how love [agape] is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.” (1 John 4:16-17)
“But God demonstrates his own love [agape] for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For God so loved [agape] the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
It’s impossible to define agape apart from the fullness of God’s character. Agape’s particular brand of love is a supernatural, multifaceted love that can only be realized, practiced, and experienced through Christ.
What Does This Mean for Today’s Believer?
Just like God’s children under the Old Covenant were called to model chesed in their relationships with one another, Believers under the New Covenant are called to live a life of agape (1 John 4:7-9).
Jesus gives us a glimpse of active agape through His Sermon on the Mount. “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love [agape] your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love [agape] your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven … perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:43-45, 48)
Jesus’s new prescription for loving others was shocking and perplexing to the original hearers, and it seems just as backward to those who believe today’s convoluted worldly definition of love. How can anyone be expected to live and love perfectly like God? We can’t—apart from Christ’s indwelling Spirit.
When we are in Christ, His perfect agape lives inside us. The fruit of His Holy Spirit is “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23).
Amazingly, the various words in the Old Testament used to describe chesed—lovingkindness, devotion, mercy, strength, grace, purity, loyalty, tenderness, and steadfastness—bear a striking resemblance to the fruit of the Spirit. Both chesed and agape ultimately describe the fullness of God’s divine loving character. Agape would not exist without chesed. The Holy Spirit is the promise of every Christian’s inheritance in Christ. Because of God’s chesed, we can trust Him to fulfill that promise. Because of His agape, we can embrace it.
“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:11-14)

Conclusion
This may well be the most important message I have ever shared – fundamentally Yah IS Chesed and His fundamental requirement for you and me is that we live in Chesed towards Him AND our fellow human beings.
Please feel free to email me (James) if you have questions or comments.
May Father bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and grant you His Peace
May Yah judge me severely and correct me harshly and show me the level of my present deception and how to correct it with regard to everything that I write and publish

The Almighty Creator Desires a DEEP Personal Relationship with YOU
If you die as an Unbeliever your spirit will live for a very long time as a disembodied Ancestor Spirit or Demon -- the Creator has said regarding Unbelievers "why would I want someone to spend Eternity with me when they do NOT Believe I exist?”
If you die as a Believer without any form of relationship with the Creator you will end up in the Outer Darkness – a cold, black, terrible place with weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth (your teeth) – the trash heap of Heaven – Father has said concerning such Believers “why would I want someone to be close to me in Heaven, which inherently means I will give them great prestige and authority, if they do NOT have a deep personal relationship with me and have NOT proven to me that they can be trusted in this life?”
In stark contrast -- IF you make a real effort to seek relationship with the Almighty the rewards in the Life to Come are HUGE – a glorious resurrected body, great prestige, great authority and a permanent close relationship with the Creator AND with Yahooshua {who you may mistakenly know as Jesus}
To put this all in context the Almighty has said "I created Human beings, this planet and this universe for men and women to be my Friends, my companions, to explore and learn and develop together, my greatest grief is that almost NO person understands this let alone seeks such a relationship with me!“

Broadcast -- The TRUE Name of the Creator is Yah the Eternally Self-Existing
The true Name of the Almighty Creator of the Heavens and the Earth is frequently represented as "Yahweh" or, more correctly, "Yahooeh" which is an inaccurate anglicization of the true essential Name of the Almighty which is "Yah the Eternally Self-Existing". Yah's true name is VERY important to Him, just as my name, "James" is important to me, I do NOT answer to "John" or any other name, I do NOT even answer to "Jim" or "Jimmy" which are commonly used abbreviations of "James".
